    It had now been a week since the accident and Demetri still hadn't woke up. I was starting to get more scared everyday.
I picked at my sling as Sensei Lawerence and Sensei LaRusso taught karate. I missed Demetri so much, him always blabbing on and on about something.

I sighed staring at my hands, "Hey Eli."
Mr LaRusso walked over to where I was sitting on the deck at Miyagi-Do.

"Hey Sensei," I looked up.

"How's Demetri doing?" He asked sitting next to me.

"He's still not awake," I frowned looking back down.

"He's gonna make it, the accident was very serious." He explained.

"I kn-know," I sighed.

"Just keep by his side he needs you Eli. You're his best friend." He sighed.

"I know I'm going to go see him after practice," I nodded.

"Good," he nodded getting back up.

I sighed and looked back down at my lap waiting for Miguel and Sam to be done.

I yawned as I sat next to Demetri, I rubbed my eyes. "I'm so tired." I smiled looking at him.

"But I brought you a present," I took my phone out and pulled up Lover on my Spotify. I played the song and set my phone on his bed. I took his hand with my free hand and held it close to me.
I sniffed and mumbled the lyrics to him "Demetri I need you." I kissed his knuckles.
I sniffed, I didn't wanna cry infront of him.

"Eli..." his mom was standing in the doorway. She hugged me tight. I hugged her back and sniffed.

"I gotta go," I stood up and grabbed my phone, "Bye Demetri."

I left quickly walking to my car. I got in and tossed my phone into the passengers seat. I sniffed and leaned my arm against the steering wheel. God I needed Demetri back in my life.
