"Babe!" I hear Vinnie yell before I get picked up off of the ground. "Hey Vin." I laugh as I wrap my arms around his neck.
"How was your trip?" He asks putting me down.
"It was good, I really missed my family more than I thought I did." I admit. He brings his lips to my forehead and kisses it. "Well I'm glad you had a good time, but I missed you more than anything so you aren't leaving my side today." He says wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
We walk into the kitchen and I see Jaylee. She sees me and her eyes automatically light up.
"JADE!" She yells. She jumps from her seat and ask almost tackles me to the ground. "Hey Jay." I say hugging her back.
"I missed you so much." She says pulling away from me. "You don't act like that when you see me." I hear Troy say from the fridge.
"That's because this is my wife and she always comes first. Plus I've seen you everyday for three weeks, I need a break." She waves him off. He scoffs and fakes being hurt then closes the refrigerator.
I laugh and look back at Jaylee. "You missed me that much?" I ask. "Yes I missed you that much. Being around them without everyday for three weeks does something to you." She shudders.
"Oh whatever." Vinnie rolls his eyes as he flicks her head.
I playfully roll my eyes as Vinnie drags me out of the kitchen and up the stairs. We enter his room and he closes his door as I plop down on his bed on my back.
I take in the familiar scent of his room, that I've missed for the past month. I lift my head to see him walking towards the bed.
He hovers over me, holding himself up using his tattoo covered arms. I give him a tired smile, still jet lagged.
"You tired?" Vinnie asked bending down pecking my lips then pulling himself back up. I shake my head tiredly as he continues to do push-ups on the bed, kissing me between each one.
"Can we just cuddle and go to sleep?" I ask him as he leans down for another kiss.
"Maybe." He smirks, his curls in his face. I playfully roll my eyes at him. "What do you mean 'maybe'?" I ask him.
"We can cuddle all you want if you let me take you out tomorrow." He suggests.
"What's the special occasion?"
"There isn't one, I just miss you and want to spend time with you." He shrugs.
When he comes down for another kiss I wrap my arms around his neck to let him know to stay.
He then wraps his arms around my waist, rolling onto his back, bringing me with him. I end up laying on my stomach on top of him.
I peck his lips one last time before speaking again. "I'll think about it." I tease him.
He raises his eyebrows. "Oh really?" He asks. I not my head confidently.
He starts to poke my sides, knowing that's my tickle spot. I flinch away from him, knowing he's not going to stop until he gets his way.
"Vinnie stop it." I laugh. "Let me take you out." He says. I roll off of him and lay beside him.
I poke his side back, playing into his game. "Nope." I say.
He sits up and climbs onto my hips looking down at me.
He puts his hands on my hips, putting his middle and pointer fingers in both of my front pockets, which he seems to do a lot.
He runs his fingers across my pockets while looking at me. "You sure?" He gives me a look.
I bust out laughing, knowing what game he's playing. "100% Vinnie." I say.
He takes his hands out of my pockets and runs his hands from my hips, all the way up to my sides. He slips his hands under my hoodie I was wearing and I can feel the warmth of his hands, sending a shock through my body.
"Baby please." He says rubbing my sides now.
"Vinnie I just want to lay down and cuddle with you, is that such a crime?" I say relentlessly.
I put my hands behind my head waiting for his answer.
"And I'm just trying to take you out since I haven't seen you in a month, is that such a crime?" He mocks me.
I sigh as he slips his hands from under my sides. He grabs my hands from under my head and intertwines our fingers.
He kisses both of my hands, moving down to my wrist. He moves himself to a position where he can put my hands above my head, our fingers still intertwined.
He leans down and kisses me slowly, placing a kiss to my jawline.
"Come on baby, you know you want to." I hear him whisper into my neck.
A shiver is sent down my spine and I let go of our hands so I can wrap my hands around his neck, getting caught up in the moment.
He wraps his arms around my waist and flips us onto our side. He pulls his face up to see my face, it clearly being flushed.
He sees the effect he has on me and smirks slightly.
I can see his cockiness start to kick in and roll my eyes.
As I'm about to give in the door opens.
Jaylee walks in with a worried expression on her face.
"Jaylee, I swear there's a thing called knocking." I playfully say, letting go of Vinnie and sitting up, waiting for her her say something.
"Jay what's wrong, you're scaring me." I say, my smile starting to fade.
"Jade, your dad is here."
