I plop down on on Jaylee's bed and huff. "Ok I'm guessing you want something." she says putting her computer away that she was using for online school.
"No not really it's just me and Vinnie kinda got into it about meeting." I explain. "What do you mean?" She asks laying on her stomach.
I lift myself up and prop my arm up so I can stay balanced. "He wanted to meet. I wasn't ready." I say. "And why wouldn't you be ready?" She asks.
"I just don't wanna go in too deep with him because we both know my track record with successful relationships is very low." I say.
"Well did you tell him that?" She asks. "No." I answer.
"And why not?"
"Because you know I'm afraid to open up to people. I'm not even fully like that with Vinnie yet." I say sighing.
"Well you have to try, you have to have hope because being hopeful at least gives you the mindset that something might actually work." She tells me.
"So do you think we should hang out?" I ask.
"Give yourself a few more weeks before you're forced to put the whole hope thing into play to see if you yourself are ready." She tells me.
"I love you." I smile down at her. "Yeah yeah I know." She rolls her eyes playfully.
"Wanna watch a movie?" I ask.
