Your POV
"Hey! Give that back! You need to pay for that!"
I turned my cape over to shelter myself, hiding my face so the merchant couldn't take a note of it as I sprinted away.
People yelped as I pushed past them, but I didn't care about manners at that moment.
I couldn't care about manners during these heists.
I clutched the bread loaf close to my chest as my boots clicked against the brick sidewalk, taking a look around at the trees and walls that I had taken note of in planning my escape of the little merchant town.
Making it near the entrance, I could hear the clopping of the town officers' fancy running boots chasing after me.
Perfect timing.
I took a sharp turn towards the wall of the town, leaping up to grab the brick that stuck out ever so slightly from the architecture.
I had noticed it when I came here yesterday, taking note of the flaws in the architecture and the poor placement of the merchants' tables.
Not poor placement for their business. More of poor placement for preventing a thief like me from trying to escape without getting physically caught.
I quickly hoisted myself up to push my body from the brick, jumping onto the merchant stand directly next to the wall: a watermelon cart.
Upon landing on the merchant's table, my boot heel cracked through a firm watermelon, and it became stuck under the pressure of my sudden landing.
The two town officers chuckled as they gazed upon my predicament, then slowed down, thinking they were safe from any harm.
"Alright you, that's enough. Get down from the table and reveal your face."
I smirked under the shadow of my cloak.
Everything was according to plan.
The officer closest to me was soon met with my boot and a face full of sticky fruit. The second officer jumped back but was quickly met with the ground. I swiped my foot back up from under his legs and climbed atop the merchant's table, jumping quickly to the top of the wall and disappearing from sight into the trees.

"I wish I had some butter or something."
The little squirrel cocked his head to the side, not understanding the words that came out of my mouth.
Why was I talking to a squirrel again?
Oh, right.
I tore a piece of bread off of the loaf, then tossed it to the creature. He took what he had been waiting for and scurried off, and I sighed.
Finally, after hours of basking in the heat of my cloak's hood, I flipped the cloth down so it draped on my shoulders.
I felt the bark of the tree behind my bare head as I pressed it against the trunk.
"When will all of this end?"Merlin's POV
My heart pounded in my ears as Jack, Arthur and I approached the gates of the palace. The king had called out for a mission, specifically for the Fearless 7. As our team's natural leader, I felt as if I should retrieve the message.
Arthur and Jack were only here because they begged me to come.
"Do you know what the mission is for?" Arthur questioned as I approached the gate. I shrugged.
"Not sure, Art. He just called us over for a mission. No specifics."
I rapped my knuckle on the gate's door. A sharp pain suddenly struck my finger.
"Aaah! Splinter.." I winced, but before I had time to react properly the gate opened, and at the other end stood King White.
"Boys! I'm so glad you could make it." White motioned to his guards to stand down, and the men rested their shoulders.
"Your majesty," I kneeled down in respect, and Jack followed suit. It took Arthur a second to realize that we were showing respect, but as soon as he did he copied our movement.
"No need for the formalities, Merlin," the king chuckled, and all three of us stood. King White walked close to us and held out a piece of paper.WANTED

If found, immediately bring to castle gates. The picture was vague. A hooded figure, whose cape draped over most of the person's body. The only other features visible were their heeled boots and a small smirk under the shadow drawn by the sketch artist to shield their face. The boots, however, seemed to have a little star marking just above the ankle.
"This thief has been causing a lot of trouble in our kingdom lately. Unfortunately they're such a master of disguise that nobody has been able to see any of their defining features." King White sighed. "I didn't know who else to go to. You guys are so well known for crime fighting and not to mention good at it."
"So you want us to catch a person of whom we no idea of their looks?" Jack sneered, and I hit him on the side. He seemed to understand who he was talking to and shaped up. "With all due respect sir, it's a little difficult to do so. Capes with hoods are a pretty common article. Even I have one."
"But it's invisible, Jack." Arthur stated.
"Thanks, Captain Obvious."
"I think what my teammates are TRYING to say," I started, giving the boys a glare, "is that it might be difficult for us to find this criminal. However we'll do it. Is there anything else we should know, your majesty?"
"Not that we know of," he shrugged. "I apologize for the lack of information, but if anyone can do it, it's you seven."
"Thank you, sire. We'll get right to it," Jack bowed and I nodded in confirmation.
As soon as the King disappeared behind his gate, we headed back home.
"We'll grab the others and head out as soon as possible," I planned out loud, then stopped in my tracks to turn and glare at the two behind me.
"Also, you two aren't allowed to retrieve royal messages with me anymore."
The two sighed childishly, however they both nodded.
"Alright," I smirked slightly, whipping out a electricket out from my sleeve. "Let's catch this criminal."
