"Are... Are you sure?" I asked nervously, slowly approaching where my father sat.
After the group made it back to the entrance of the waterpark, my brothers and the blond pervert argued over who would take Haruhi-Kun home; The argument eventually turning into an intense game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. In the end, Haruhi-Kun opted for the martial-art masters for the ride home. Honey-Senpai was immensely pleased.
Hikaru and Kaoru pouted the entire way home, refusing to speak to anyone. I enjoy the quiet, but this silence was almost too much. I was tempted to break the unpleasant stillness several times throughout the drive but refrained from doing so.
As we pulled into the driveway, the two of them looked ready to jump out and disappear as soon as they were able. Unfortunately for them, the three of us were stopped and brought to a bedroom near my own, at the request of our father. Entering, we saw him sitting in a rocking chair near a white painted wooden crib, holding a small bundle of tiny clothing.
"Yes, I'm certain," Father replied, carefully placing the tiny child in my arms and directing me on how to hold it -- Her -- correctly.
It was nerve-wracking, holding a newborn baby. Even more so since it was my first time to hold a baby. Not only that, but this was my little sister. I hadn't even considered the possibility of having any more siblings. But now, here she was. In my arms.
Gazing up at me with wide eyes, the little girl smiled. Baby smiles are the most adorable kind of smile in the world, I realized. Nothing could beat the pure, innocent smile of a newly born human.
"How comes she gets to hold her first?" Hikaru asked quietly, watching with curiosity as I rocked back and forth in the rocking chair.
"Yeah, we were the ones who helped name her," Kaoru stated, the same quiet curiosity as his brother coming through in his voice.
Father chuckled softly, placing a hand on each of the boy's heads and ruffling their hair. "Be patient. You'll all get a turn to hold her, don't worry."
My attention was still on the tiny human nestled in my arms. She barely had any hair, as was common with newborns, but the small amount of fuzz she did have was a lighter shade of my own. Her eyes also matched mine in color, and it made me somewhat happy to see that she got Father's nose rather than the same schnoz we triplets inherited.
"What'd we name her again?" Both of the boys asked, never taking their eyes of the babe in my arms. I wondered the same thing, but I was too focused on her to ask for myself.
"Ageha," Father answered, the smile on his face evident in his voice.
Hikaru held up his pointer finger for her told grasp, and then gasped in surprise when she did. "She's strong!" He exclaimed quietly, his grin spreading from ear-to-ear.
Kaoru copied Hikaru's actions, letting the little girl grasps his finger as well. "She sure is!" He chuckled lightly, almost sounding like a giggle more than a chuckle.
Giggling along with him, I allowed my smile to reach as far as it would go. "Welcome to the family, little Ageha." Ageha giggled as best as she could, earning more coos from the four of us before yawning and beginning to drift off to sleep in my arms, each of her hands holding a twin's finger.
The next day was a Friday. I didn't know why my parents thought it was a good idea to start me at a new school in the middle of the week, and I doubt they even realized that they had done so. At least it would be a short school week; Or, at least, it would've been had it not been for the Host Club.
