"Is that Renge?" Haruhi-Kun asked, looking around for the source of the voice and the powerful motor sound that seemed to accompany it.

One the gazebos nearby split into two as a platform came up in between the two halves, the person standing on the spinning platform laughing like an evil scientist from one of those horror movies.

"How does she do that?" Haruhi-Kun sweatdropped at the sight. "It's like the rig follows us."

I was undoubtedly very confused.

The girl standing on the spinning platform was wearing a black bikini and was holding an umbrella. A blue tattoo ran down the right side of her stomach -- Her left, my right -- with intricate little patterns that I supposed what to mean something, but I had no clue as to what.

"That outfit's pretty impressive," Hikaru stated as he looked her over. By looking at the expression on everyone's faces, it was clear that they were used to this kind of thing already. Which was odd. But, then again, nothing that happened that day wasn't odd.

"What's with the tattoo on your stomach?" Kaoru asked from beside his twin. Apparently, the tattoo on her body was relatively new.

The girl, who I presumed was this 'Renge' person Haruhi-Kun mentioned before, pointed her index finger in the air dramatically. "Oh, that? You don't recognize it? I'm cosplaying."

Hikaru, Kaoru, Haruhi-Kun, and Tamaki-Senpai all deadpanned at her words. I, on the other hand, was still very much confused. It's not like I didn't know what cosplay was -- Cosplaying was one of the few things that kept me sane while stuck in the hospital for weeks on end; It was the way she appeared that confused me. How can concrete suddenly open and reveal a person?

"Yeah?" Hikaru asked, not amused by whatever the girl was doing. "As who?"

"La-la!" Renge replied in a sing-song voice.

"La-la? Like the manga magazine?" Kaoru asked, the confusion evident by his deadpanned faced.

"Her petite and slender frame, her blue eyes that light up young men's faces, her singing voice!" The Renge person began to explain in a fangirlish tone. I knew that tone well. It was one I used often. "I am Quon Kisaragi!"

Haruhi-Kun deadpanned even further -- if that was even possible. "I wouldn't have guessed."

"I had no idea who you were supposed to be," Tamaki-Senpai remarked.

"I have no idea who that even is," I mumbled more to myself than to anyone else.

The girl continued to fangirl and make random poses while the twin's and Tamaki-Senpai crouched down once again and began whispering to each other. They were facing away from me, so I couldn't hear what they were saying. Instead, I focused my attention on the girl in front of me. I didn't know for sure, but I think I may have had the same expression as Haruhi-Kun did at the very moment.

After a few more minutes of prancing about in her fantasy world, she stopped and pointed towards the five of us with a look of seriousness on her face. "Listen up, boys!" I obviously wasn't a boy, but I didn't say anything about it and let her continue. "You obviously need help understanding Haninozuka's hidden motives! Look!" She then pointed at where Honey-Senpai was, jumping into the pool while yelling his cousin's name.

"What are you talking about?" Tamaki asked, voicing the confusion of the five of us combined.

"Think about what he said to you earlier," Renge replied.

What exactly did he say to us earlier? All I remembered that he wanted to teach me how to swim, and being terrified of that thought didn't really allow whatever transpired afterward to stick with me at that time.
