Ch.6 the sparrow and his shy thunder

Tanjiro is currently confused at what's going on in front of him which is a blonde boy on his knees begging a girl to marry him. Tanjiro noticed a sparrow and let him on his hand "mhm so your owner is Zenitsu and he's scared and is now begging a girl to marry him, okay I'll see what I can do" as tanjiro walked forward and pulled him off of her "hey stop it your scaring your sparrow and annoying this lady your a demon slayer act like it" tanjiro reprimanded "hey wait I know you, you were at final selection" tanjiro then yelled at him "DONT PRETEND LIKE WE KNOW EACH OTHER CAUSE WE DONT" as Zenitsu looked hurt and visibly deflated as tanjiro regained composure and said "I'm very sorry miss" as she started walking away Zenitsu said "hey wait your still gonna marry me right" as the woman yelled "NO!!!" As she started hitting him with a bag "THE ONLY REASON I TALKED TO IS BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU WERE SICK" as Zenitsu cried "wait you didn't talk to me because you like me and want to get married" as she kept hitting him "NO I HAVE A FIANCÉ ANYWAYS" as she finally left Zenitsu looked at tanjiro "YOU, YOU CAUSED HER TO LEAVE ME YOU MUST HELP ME FIND ANOTHER WOMAN TO MARRY" tanjiro gave him a disgusted face "STOP IT YOUR LOOKING AT ME AS IF IM SOME KIND OF CREATURE" tanjiro gave him an even more disgusted face "please I'm weak you have to protect me until I get married" tanjiro completely ignored this and offered his hand "my name is tanjiro Kamado" as Zenitsu took his hand "my name is Zenitsu agatsuma" as his stomach growled "here I have some extra food you can take mine" tanjiro offered with a smile 'so bright' Zenitsu thought "thank you but where are we heading" tanjiro then replied "we are going westbound reports of children being stolen" tanjiro explained as Zenitsu got nervous "I didn't even want to do this" Zenitsu said "I hoped I wouldn't make it past final selection" tanjiro was confused "why?" He asked "because I never wanted to do this in the first place this woman I knew played me and got me into a lot of debt my grandpa busted me out and made me become a demon slayer he put me through hellish training" he shivered at the thought "I know he loved me and wanted me to be strong but I'm just so scared" Zenitsu confessed "I understand this is scary we're putting out live on the line but remember who and what we are fighting for" tanjiro told him. Tanjiro and Zenitsu made it a few miles when they saw a mansion "woah it's big and what's that noise it sounds like a drum" tanjiro pondered "and what's that noise" Zenitsu said as he turned to the right and saw two kids. Zenitsu poked tanjiro "hey tanjiro look" tanjiro looked to the right and saw a bunch of kids he approached "hey are you guys ok" the two kids one boy and one girl didn't answer and kept crying "hey look" as zenitsu's sparrow chuntaro landed in tanjiro's hands "see a cute sparrow" as the two kids calmed down at the sight of a tweeting sparrow "ok what's your names" tanjiro asked "Shoichi and this is my younger sister" tanjiro smiled at them "ok can you tell me what happened" the boy spoke up "we were walking home late at night with our older brother when a demon came and took him into this mansion we followed invade we could save him" they explained as a large drum was heard and a teenager flung himself out of the biggest window splattering on the ground causing the children to look away and Zenitsu got scared "look away, sir it's gonna be alright" he said to the teen "am.. am... I ..going to....die" the teen asked as he died "I'm sorry I couldn't save you and I'm sorry I can't bury you" tanjiro said looking away as he walked over and set the box down "was that your brother" tanjiro asked shiochi shook his head "he is wearing an orange kimono" tanjiro nodded "if anybody attacks open this box it will protect you" as he walked to Zenitsu "we're going in" he said as Zenitsu freaked out "YOU WANNA GO IN THERE" as tanjiro didn't answer and looked away angrily and stomped off "WAIT TANJIRO IM SORRY ILL GO ILL GO" Zenitsu screamed following tanjiro in. On the inside it looked like a normal mansion "you'll protect me right tanjiro" Zenitsu asked "I'll be honest with you Zenitsu I haven't fully recovered from last fight my leg is healing and my ribs are hurt from a great fall I took" as Zenitsu stopped "you...took.....me.....in....here WITH A BROKEN LEG AND RIBS" as tanjiro blinked "you can obviously take care of yourself you got this far right" as tanjiro looked down "you guys followed us" the kids nodded "the box was making strange noises so we left" tanjiro sighed "ok I really wish you didn't leave the box though I value it more then my life" when all of a sudden they heard a drum beat and spilt off on accident and then mysteriously the room changedand Zenitsu and shiochi were gone "I'm sorry we got separated teruko" tanjiro apologized to teruko and then they heard footsteps and the door slid open and they saw a demon "that's him he took my brother" teruko said "ok I'll get him back please go behind the shelves" teruko did what she was told and went behind the shelves. Tanjiro sniffed the air 'he's the master no doubt the strongest scent in the house he also smells off muzan is he apart of the twelve moon demons' as he saw his eyes engraved with the word lower six crossed out 'he's a former member!!'tanjiro thought as the demon hit a drum causing the room to turn to the right 'he can control the room with his drums!!!' Tanjiro thought as he then saw teruko fall "TERUKO HOLD ON" as he kept hitting his drum causing the room to keep turning as he finally got on his feet and jumped catching teruko and breaking her fall.
Somewhere else
Zenitsu was freaking out "we're gonna die we're gonna die" he kept repeating the same words "TERUKO" shiochi called out as Zenitsu freaked out "don't be so loud you attract a demon let's go outside instead" as Zenitsu tried to pull him outside "don't act like a coward we have to save my brother" shiochi reprimanded Zenitsu "CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE INVOLVED IN THIS" Zenitsu shot back hurt as Zenitsu and shiochi made their way down the hallway and opened a door to the right to see a teen in a boar mask "AAAAAAAHHHHHH MONSTER SHIOCHI SAVE ME" Zenitsu yelled as he ran behind shiochi who sighed as the teen in the boar mask ran away.
Tanjiro was a bit tired and in pain "I hate it when so many people are inside and distracting me from my prey" kyogai the former lower sixth moon said as tanjiro said "I am tanjiro kamado and I will defeat you" tanjiro said as he charged the demon who rotated the room. Tanjiro took a sniff 'there's a new scent' as a teen in a boar hide mask broke through wielding two nichirin swords 'a duel wielder strange' tanjiro thoug astonished by the teen "YOU, your the master of this house I will defeat you and show I'm stronger" now tanjiro was truly confused 'using him as a step stone' as kyogai hit the drum and the man in the boar mask stepped on tanjiro and pushed off of him landing on teruko "HEY GET OFF HER" as he threw him off and grabbed teruko hugging her "ARENT YOU A DEMON SLAYER YOUR SUPPOSED TO PROTECT PEOPLE" tanjiro yelled at the teen in the boar mask "HAHAHAHA that actually hurt good try" as the teen swung at him again trying to attack him "aren't you gonna try to attack the demon" tanjiro said confused "NOPE" the teen said as the demon kyogai hit a middle drum causing a slash like a claw in between the two 'wow it's like an animals claw' tanjiro thought as the room changed "teruko are you ok" the purple girl nodded as he walked around a corner only to see a dead body "let's go the other way" tanjiro ushered teruko through another door revealing "BROTHER" teruko ran at the kid in and orange kimono holding a drum "teruko" he said as he hugged his sister "hello I am tanjiro I'm here to help" tanjiro said "I am Kiyoshi thank you for finding me." Zenitsu and shiochi were walking around "hey Zenitsu I-" as Zenitsu yelped "AAHHHH" he screamed "I don't feel safe around you" shiochi deadpanned as Zenitsu put his finger on his lips "be quiet a demon will hear your" as Zenitsu came face to face with a tongue demon. Zenitsu was running as fast as he could carrying shiochi "GO AWAY WE DONT TASTE GOOD I PROMISE" Zenitsu yelled crying sprinting away from the demon following "I'll never know until I try" the demon replied as Zenitsu got away but collapsed from fear "hey Zenitsu come on get up" shiochi said as he blinked at the now sleeping Zenitsu 'I'm gonna die' he thought when Zenitsu stood up and exhaled releasing steam from his nose and went into a stance "THUNDER BREATJING FIRST FORM THUNDERCLAP AND FLASH" as Zenitsu went so fast with the speed of lightning and cut off the demons head. Zenitsu woke up seeing a demons head "AAAGGHHH HOW DID IT DIE" Zenitsu screamed as he looked at shiochi "TUANK YOU SHIOCHI I NEVER KNEW YOU WERE SO STRONG" he said misunderstanding the situation. In another hallway we Inosuke hashibira was running through annoyed by the demon slayer and demon 'and the structure of this STUPID MANSION' as a hand tried to grab him he turned and face the horned demon chuckling "hehe BEAST BREATHING THIRD FANG RIP AND DEVOUR" as he cut off the arms and decapitated the demon. Kyogai was frustrated he finally found a human with special blood that eating one was equal to eating fifty- no one hundred humans 'this way I can join the twelve moon demons again' as he recalls his life when he was apart of the twelve moon demons and his fall from them when his master stripped him off his position because he couldn't eat no more humans. Tanjiro had treated Kiyoshi wounds "after the demon took me two more came and knocked out his drum every time I hit it I change places" Kiyoshi said "ok I want you to hit the drum a bunch and keep hitting it if demons are near and find a way out" as tanjiro took his sword "he's coming go" as tanjiro ran through the doors down a bunch of hallways "so you show yourself" kyogai said "yes and I will defeat you this time" as kyogai growls "annoying pest" he said angrily as he flipped the room a bunch tanjiro managing to stay on his feet as he blocks a claw attack "yes I'm blocking the attacks" tanjiro cheered as it reminded kyogai ofbhis human life when he wanted to write and how a man put his dreams down the drain. Tanjiro was fighting when he accidentally stepped on a piece of paper enraging kyogai "I'll show you" he said angrily "BLOOD DEMON ART RAPID DRUMMING" tanjiro managed to dodge all of the attacks "total concentration" tanjiro inhaled deeply and exhaled before getting into a fighting stance "SUN BREATHING NINTH FORM SETTING SUN TRANSFORMATION" as tanjiro launched in the air doing a backflip and slashed kyogai head off 'I....failed' kyogai though as tanjiro picked up a peice of paper and read it "this is a really good story" as. The demons head started to tear up "you think so" kyogai said painfully "tanjiro nodded "your drums were good also but sadly killing I can never forgive" tanjiro said as the demon cried "all I ever wanted was some recognition thank you" as the demon felt a warmth he had never felt 'please god don't let him become a demon in the next life' as tanjiro sighed and walked out of the room looking for an exit. When tanjiro got outside anger was all he can feel "I did it tanjiro I protected the box" a beat up and bloody zenitsu said as inosuke yells out "fine if you don't want to fight I hurt you to" as he went to slash only for tanjiro to hit him so hard he broke four ribs and sent him into a tree knocking him out on impact as he quickly tended to zenitsu "zenitsu thank you for protecting that box it means a lot to me" tanjiro said as zenitsu nodded "glad I can help." Tanjiro,zenistu, and the kids all buried the bodies and prayed for the dead when inosuke woke up "where am I" he said as he noticed his hide was off and his swords were next to him. Inosuke quickly got into his clothes and came forward "I CHALLENGE YOUBTO FIGHT ME" he said pointing at tanjiro "no I won't" as inosuke growled in frustration "WHY!" As tanjiro said "because it's taboo for demon slayers to fight each other we aren't even allowed to fight each other unless we ask for permission and beside pulling your sword on someone who wasn't fighting was a dishonorable action to happen you should be ashamed" Tanjiro reprimanded in a threatening town 'scary' inosuke thought. 'So this is tanjiro mad' zenitsu thought. Tanjiro was currently finishing praying for the last body "hey what are you doing" inosuke poked "I'm praying for the dead that way they have a better Life in the next life" tanjiro said "that's dumb they're dead anyways they'll just decompose" inosuke said thinking he got under his skin "you grew up in the wild right?" Tanjiro asked "yeah I was raised by boars so what" he said as tanjiro asked "ok so what's your name" inosuke replies "my name is inosuke hashibira and I'm a demon slayer" as tanjiro nodded "I am tanjiro Kamado and that is Zenitsu agatsuma." They had started walking towards north were a crow told them to go but before they left they gave kiyoshi a incense bag that smelled of wisteria to keep demons away. Tanjiro and the group had stopped in a forest "a wisteria crest house is near we should be able to rest" tanjiro remembered what urokodaki told him "remember if you ever need somewhere to stay people have houses all around for demon slayers they all share one thing they'll be a wisteria crest on the house" he remembered "ok I have to know WHATS IN THE BOX" inosuke yelled out "inosuke tanjiro will tell us when he wants to" zenitsu said as tanjiro replied "fine I'll show you but I'll tell you my story first and let's go to the house we can rest there" as he saw it was almost pitch black out. Tanjiro knocked on the door "yes" and old woman said as tanjiro asked "excuse me miss can we please stay here" tanjiro bowed being polite "yes you can" the old woman said as they followed her "here you can eat this" as she opened a door revealing food "AHH MONSTER" zenitsu screamed as inosuke at the food quickly tanjiro being the only polite one "I'm very sorry they're kinda wild" the old lady chuckled "it's ok I've had worse" as she left. When they finished she brought them to another room to sleep causing zenitsu to scream monster again. When they laid down tanjiro sighed "ok I'll tell you guys know" as zenitsu sat cross crossed paying attention as inosuke laid down facing tanjiro "more than two years ago I lived up in the mountains with my family my mom and my sibling. My younger sister nezuko, my younger brother takeo who were the oldest nezuko only being two years younger than me and takeo being the second oldest boy, then I had my brother and sister who were trouble makers they're hanako and shigeru they always wanted to help same with takeo but where to young," tanjiro stated "my youngest sister Rokuta was always the most energetic and loved nezuko they would always be around each other. One day I went down into town to sell coal and when I came back it was night time so I had to stay somewhere else but sadly when I came back to my house they were all dead and mutilated except for nezuko who had tried to protect rokuta I carried her until I met a demon slayer known as Giyu tomiya he helped me find my trainer and the rest is history" as zenitsu looked sad and inosuke was quiet "so you carry around your sister" zenitsu asked "yes I also found out away to turn her back and right now she is my top priority as I care for her more than my own life, I'll let her out but promise me you won't scare her" he said seriously zenitsu nodded and so did inosuke as tanjiro stood up and walked to the box opening it "come on nezuko it's fine I promise" as nezuko walked out and hugged her brother as zenitsu had heart eyes and started following nezuko "come here sweet nezuko" he said as he followed her in circles only for tanjiro to stop him "sorry zenitsu but I don't think nezuko likes that" zenistu visibly deflated laid down "so why won't she attack you" inosuke pondered "she has a spell placed on her that makes her believe all humans are family she knew as she sadly never recovered from that night and forgot all of her memories, she also thinks all demons are her enemies" he said as inosuke then thought of something "do you know who did it" tanjiro nodded "the original demon and the strongest none other than Muzan kibutsuji" inosuke laughed "he sounds weak" tanjiro shook his head "he's ten times stronger than any demon we have ever faced he can bend any demons will as they follow him suicidally even if you say his name he kills you" he thought back "what do you mean" zenitsu asked trembling "I encountered a demon who happened to say his name right before my eyes two big demon arms came out of her stomach and mouth crushing her head" he described making zenitsu pass out in fear 'I smell fear coming from inosuke' tanjiro shook his head "don't worry thought my ancestors have fought him for years and besides I am a sun breather."
