Con Squad

Chapter 1

"He began his life as a miner under the name D-16 before being taken to the gladiator pits of Kaon and naming himself Megatronus then shorting it to Megatron."

"He fought and won several battles and gained many followers, He wanted to gain equality and do away with the cast system and befriended the data clerk Orion Pax, A friendship that would fall apart when the later became Optimus Prime."

"Then overcome by jealousy and a sense of betrayal Megatron and his Decepticons waged war on Optimus Prime and his Autobots and poisoned the heart of Cybertron with dark energon forcing both sides to spread the war across the universe."

"Then after millions of years the war finally ended with the Autobots victorious and Cybertron restored and free and most of it's people trying to start over and live normal lives but the Decepticons having a harder time finding acceptance."

"And their leader Megatron having exiled himself after having a change of spark and his eyes opened seeing the error of his ways and disbanding the Decepticons, Though not all of them would accept that, And that's where our story begins."

Megatron woke up from a stasis nap after having a nightmare about when Unicron had taken him over and all the damage he had caused during the war, He had been having them a lot lately, After leaving Cybertron he had gone to a neighboring planet called Charr if you could even call the barren astroid a planet.

Megatron had chosen to come there knowing no one ever visited the deserted waste land of a planet, He knew he would never be accepted on Cybertron or Earth after all the harm he had done during the war and doubted anyone would want anything to do with him so had decided to live out his days in isolation.

So the former Decepticon leader went to look for energon having settled into his new daily routine.

(Meanwhile on Cybertron)

"Beat it con!" Shouted a random bot as a large group of them chased a seeker into an alley in Iacon, as they continued to throw rocks and any other projectiles they could get their servos on at him.

The terrified seeker was running for his life as he spotted some crates piled up at the back of the alley and started attempting to climb them to get to the roof of a building where he was hoping to transform and fly away.

But this hope was quickly dashed when one of his pursuers shot him off the crates right when he was about to step onto the roof and the poor bot ended up crashing hard into the ground as the stack of crates landed around him, one on top of the leg he had just been shot in.

"Thought you could run away then fly off didn't you?" One of his attackers said mockingly as several of them pinned him down.

"Nothing to say Air Commander Starscream?" Another one of them growled.

Starscream just looked down sadly.

"Let rip his wings off!" Yet another one of his attackers hissed causing his optics to widen in horror.

Just then they hard a horn honking and a red sports car suddenly started driving around them in such a way that forced all of them to back away from the seeker.

Then Knock Out transformed and stood between Starscream and the group of angry bots.

"I know Starscream did some things during the war but don't you think this is a bit extreme and over the top?" Knock Out said folding his arms and not sounding a bit happy.

"No the con has it coming!" One of the enraged crowd members belowed. "And just like a Decepticon to try to defend one of their own!"

Then the crowd started to turn on Knock Out as well as the red medic stood in front of the seeker ready to defend him and himself.

"Enough!" A voice said sternly and everyone turned to see none other then Optimus Prime standing there with Ratchet not far behind him.

"You should all be ashamed of yourselves this is not the Autobot way." Ratchet scolded the crowd of bots.

"Starscream needs to be delt with." One of the bots growled.

"He already severed his time and was let off on good behavior." Knock Out shot back.

"You should have never been aloud to join the Autobots." One of them said glaring at the red spots car.

"He's acting more like an Autobot then any of you are right now." Ratchet stood up for Knock Out. "Because Autobots don't attack bots for no reason."

Then the crowd left and Optimus and Ratchet helped get Starscream to the hospital so Knock Out and Ratchet could check him over for injuries, And fortunately other than a minor injury to his leg which they quickly patched up Starscream was fine.

"Thank you for not letting them scrap me back there." Starscream told Knock Out. "I'm sorry I tried to throw you under the bus after the terrorcon incident before the war ended."

"Anytime and I'm sorry for hitting you with the immobilizer after I switched sides." Knock Out replied as the two became friends again.

"Why did they attack you Starscream?" Asked Ratchet.

"I stepped outside my house." Starscream explained as his wings dropped. "I don't think anyone on Cybertron will ever accept me and I don't blame them."

"They just need to see that you've changed now." Knock Out told his friend.

"Bumblebee called earlier and said there are more Decepticons showing up on Earth and his team has been having their hands full." Ratchet explained to Optimus having forgotten to tell him earlier.

"I have an idea." Optimus said thoughtfully.

Later that night Megatron was looking for energon when he saw a space bridge open and Optimus Prime stepped out but he wasn't alone Soundwave was with him.

"Megatron we are putting together a team of former Decepticons to help defend Earth." Optimus explained.

"And you came to ask me to join?" Megatron asked already guessing the answer.

"We would like to give everyone a chance." Optimus replyed. "And we need a leader for the team."

"I would follow you anyway lord Megatron." Soundwave spoke up.

"Ok I'll join you." Megatron agreed wanted to take the opportunity to make up for his past actions as leader of the Decepticons.

"Then welcome aboard old friend." Optimus told him, Having actually brought Soundwave hoping he could help get Megatron to agree.

He knew that helping defend Earth would be the perfect way for the former Decepticons to make up for their past and show that they had changed for the better.

Starscream and Knock Out had already agreed and Soundwave had said he would only join if Megatron did.

So Megatron followed Optimus Prime and Soundwave through the space bridge portal ready to make amends for all the wrong he had done during the war.
