Chapter 9

Everyone spent several minutes morning Soundwave especially Lazerbeak who Knock Out let perch on his shoulder.

But the red medic quickly turned his attention to Starscream who was still unconscious and badly injured and in need of medical attention.

Knock Out got out his medkit but suddenly dropped his tools clutching his injured servo that he had forgotten about it had started leaking energon again in the spot where the beam had gone through it and Knock Out could tell he was in no condition to treat anyone.

But Starscream was lying hurt and possibly dying and needed help right now, Help that Knock Out wouldn't be able to safely give him, Since there was a chance his injured servo could end up putting the seeker in more danger.

"This can't be happening!" Knock Out cried, Soundwave had just died after Arcee had died the day before and Megatron was missing and now Starscream was probably going to die as well since the Aston Martin's hand was preventing him from saving him.

"I'm so sorry Starscream I'm useless I couldn't save Arcee, Soundwave died saving me and I can't save you either!" Knock Out sobbed as he apologized to the unconscious seeker. "I've failed as a medic, I failed my friends."

"You haven't failed anyone Knock Out your doing the best you can." Smokescreen tried reassuring the red medic.

"Just talk us through it and we'll help you save Starscream." Windblade added.

"Ok." Knock Out agreed now feeling hopeful and pulling himself together.

Just then a space bridge opened and Smokescreen, Windblade and Knock Out all three stood ready to protect Starscream and their two human friends, When Steeljaw emerged from it and saw them with their weapons pointed at him.

"Woah don't worry I'm not here to fight Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream saved me from the DJD and Optimus Prime said with your team their giving Decepticons a second chance so I'm here to join because all I really want is somewhere to live in peace." The wolf mech explained. "So the Autobots let me use the space bridge to come here."

"Ok you can join us but we're kind of having a hard time right now." Knock Out said pointing out the remains of their base and the shape Starscream was in.

"Well good thing I'm not your only new recruit then." Steeljaw explained revealing that he hadn't come alone and signaled for someone else to come out of the space bridge behind him.

"Since I have much to atone for I decided joining your team to make up for my past and pursuing peace would be logical." Said Shockwave as he stepped out of the space bridge.

"Perfect timing Shockwave." Knock Out told the cyclops knowing he was the perfect bot to help Starscream and upon seeing what shape the seeker was in Shockwave agree to help right away.

But they realized that Knock Out's medkit didn't have all the equipment they needed to save Starscream, And Steeljaw explained that all the Autobots were currently busy on Cybertron tending to deferent emergencies that kept happening just one after the other.

"In fact the hospital on Cybertron is empty right now because all the medics are off helping with the random emergencies that keep happening." Steeljaw finished telling them.

"Then I'll make a quick trip to Cybertron and get the supplies we need, Just make sure Screamer stays alive until I get back with the equipment to save him." Knock Out told the others as he rushed through the space bridge to Cybertron that was still open determined to save his best friend.

While Smokescreen, Windblade and Steeljaw stayed to stand guard over Gage and Shayna as well as Shockwave who was busy working to keep Starscream alive.
