Con Squad

Chapter 7

When Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave arrived at the hospital on Cybertron they had Steeljaw sent back for treatment and Megatron tried to have Starscream and Soundwave go back for treatment but they both wanted to find out what the situation was first regarding the bot who died.

"Soundwave thanks for helping me back there when we were fighting Helex." Starscream told the slender mech.

"Thank you for saving Lazarbeak." Soundwave replied.

Then they got back to where Ratchet and Knock Out were, The later Starscream was relieved to see because when they had gotten the call that someone had died the seeker was afraid it was him because why else would they have called them.

And he, Megatron and Soundwave were all saddened to learn about Arcee, And Starscream tried to talk to and comfort Knock Out who was taking Arcee's death the hardest having been in love with her.

"Your a jinx you know Decepticons shouldn't be medic I bet Arcee would have survived had she been in better hands." Pharma who had just entered the room said to Knock Out who just hung his helm.

"Don't ever say anything like that to him Knock Out is one of the best medics I know!" Starscream hissed at the jet medic. "Don't even imply that this was his fault!"

"Or you'll what scrap me since all you Decepticons know is violence." Pharma replied smugly.

"Get out just get out!" Ratchet growled at Pharma pointing at the door feeling disgusted by his attitude.

"Gladly I can't stand Decepticons." Pharma replied smirking once his back was turned to them having pretended to point the finger at Knock Out messing up to get any suspension away from himself.

"I'm so sorry about him he's always hated Decepticons and no matter what his reason that was just plan insensitive and out of line." Ratchet said to Knock Out trying to reassure him. "You did everything you could for Arcee just like we all did and don't think even for a minute this was your fault."

"Thanks but I'm still wondering if there was anything I could have done differently or failed to notice that could have saved her." Knock Out told them his voice cracking and his optics filling with coolant tears.

"Don't think like that Knock Out you did everything you could and from what the other medics told me you went above and beyond for her." Starscream tried to comfort his best friend.

"Thanks Screamer." Knock Out replied.

Just then they heard a shout in the hallway and all rushed out to see what was going on and found Megatron who had Pharma by the neak pinned against the wall next to the exit.

"Lazerbeak caught everything you just said to Knock Out which I heard when he played it for Soundwave and I'm only going to say this once so pay attention, Killing isn't my style anymore but if you ever say anything out of line to him or any of my team again I will personally make you beg to become one with the Allspark do you hear me?" Megatron hissed at the jet medic.

"Loud and clear." Pharma said with wide optics.

"Good." Megatron replied letting him go and Pharma ran out of the hospital as if he couldn't get away fast enough.

"Sorry about that." Megatron apologized to the crowd that had suddenly gathered but they all cheered at him instead none of them liking Pharma and all having enjoyed watching Megatron threaten and scar him.

"Thanks for sticking up for Knock Out." Starscream told his former master.

"Glad to I can't believe he would say that to Knock Out after he's already hurting enough and he has the nerve to call himself an Autobot." Megatron answered his former second in command.

"I know we used to be friends in med school but he's not the same bot I knew back then he's completely changed and not for the better." Ratchet cut in and was so mad at how Pharma had acted that he broke a tool he'd been holding.

"Scrap I needed that." He groaned before walking off.

Later they all gave Arcee a funeral on Earth and buried her next to Cliffjumper, All the bot and their human friends attended and Arcee's human partner Jack was taking her death as hard as Knock Out was.

Shayna even gave Knock Out a white flower to put on Arcee grave explaining to him that humans put flowers on graves to pay respects and that that one was a rose and white roses are used to show sympathy and that that practical rose was called a knockout rose.

"Kind of like I'm leaving myself with her." Knock Out said give a soft smile and thanking her.

Meanwhile while everyone was at the funeral paying their respects Vos from the DJD had snuck into the Con's base and looked around then messed with the computer taking any information he could from it.

Pharma as an act of revenge against Megatron for threatening him had told the DJD the location of their base after showing them the footage of him killing Arcee, So they aloud the jet medic to go ahead to Earth.

"A deals a deal." Tarn had told Pharma. "Now Megatron and his team won't know what hit them."

Vos did a few more things before leaving the base.

Meanwhile Smokescreen and Windblade said goodbye to the Cons wanting to help out on Cybertron since Team Prime was down a member and Starscream had hugged Windblade goodbye before going through the ground bridge back to their base.

But we're met with the sight of their base having been trashed.

"What happened?" Asked Knock Out seeing shelves had been knocked over, The computer had been smashed and tools from the medbay had been scattered everywhere.

"I think our base has been compromised." Starscream said nervously.

Knock Out told Shayna and Gage to stay close to him in case whoever had gotten in was still there wanting to defend the two humans.

While Starscream, Soundwave and Megatron split up and started investigating the base to see the extent of the damage.

Megatron went to his room and his spark raced when he saw the words "Peace Through Tyranny!" And a Decepticon symbol spray painted on his wall in dark purple.

"MEGATRON!!!" Starscream suddenly screamed from his room down the hallway.

The former leader of the Decepticons recognized the urgency in his former Air Commander's voice right away and rushed to his room where it came from to see what was wrong.

And was meet with the sight of Starscream with a panicked look on his face pointing at a bomb that had been planted on his berth that was counting down.

"We need to evacuate..!" Starscream started to say but was cut off when the counter hit zero.

And before Megatron could react the seeker was engulfed in the explosion and the former gladiator was flinged across the hallway and black out upon hitting his helm as the explosion and fire spread across the base.

Upon seeing what was happening Knock Out wasted no time using his body to shield Gage and Shayna from the blast before the whole base was caught in the explosion as parts of it were collapsing and on fire with everyone still inside.

Sorry this chapter was kind of short and that was a pretty big cliffhanger I just left you with, Next chapter is gonna be interesting, This one was really just a set up for it, Hope it turned out ok, I'll try to get the next one up soon, In the meantime feel free to send feedback.
