Jungkook wouldn't let go of Taehyung the whole time. The truth about his father's death was just too traumatizing for him. Taehyung would say something sweet in the alpha's ears every few minutes.
Jungkook fell asleep pretty quickly as he was tired. Taehyung was more tired than his mate, but he decided to stay awake until Jungkook fell asleep. Once he was in deep slumber, Taehyung felt his eyelids get heavier, as he falls asleep.
The next morning, Jungkook was first to wake up. He found his mate all cuddled up in the blanket like a burrito next to him. He couldn't help but think he looked really cute.
He knew Taehyung did so much for him last night, so he didn't want to wake him up. He softly kissed the younger's forehead and carefully walked out without making any noise.
To show his gratitude, he wanted to cook something for breakfast. But the sad fact was that he wasn't very god at cooking. All he could ever do properly was instant ramen. Once he even poured the boiling water accidentally on Hoseok who was next to him. Since then, no one entered the kitchen when Jungkook was in.
He got himself a bottle of banana milk and got to work. He decided to make the most simple, and common thing anyone would think when the word 'breakfast' is mentioned... pancakes.
He broke some eggs, poured in some flour and milk in a random amount just to get the perfect consistency. Well it's not like he had to perfect with the quantities.
"Oh someone's cooking"
Jungkook scoffed at Yoongi's statement because he knows he's going to get teased for he was about to serve Taehyung some burnt pancakes. For the first time since the alpha poured boiling water on the poor beta, someone entered the kitchen when Jungkook was in.
He rolled up his sleeves and turned on the stove. He didn't even wait for the pan to heat up, and he immediately poured some of the batter on it. They waited for a while for the pancake to cook.
Once one side was done, Jungkook wanted to flip it, but in that attempt, the uncooked side of the pancake got stuck to the bottom of the shelf above the stove. And Yoongi just sighed.
"For fucks sake kook, you ain't no Gordon ramsay" Yoongi said, frustrated and walked out of the kitchen.
He decided to clean that later and continued making a new pancakes.
After a while, Taehyung came down which Jungkook did not notice and was sipping onto his banana milk. Jungkook thought banana milk was a drink for kids, so he would never drink it in front of anyone. Of course he didn't want to be spoken about by such a judgmental society. Taehyung knew that very well, and he found Jungkook's love for banana milk a very cute thing of him.
Taehyung chuckled at Jungkook suffering to make pancakes. The alpha heard it, and snapped his head at Taehyung faster than light. The white-ish liquid dripping from the sides of his mouth and looked at Taehyung, alarmed.
Jungkook licked off the banana milk on his lips, wiped the liquid off his cheek and hid the bottle behind the counter. Taehyung walked closer to him, and Jungkook gulped.
"Jungkookie, I know how much you love banana milk... you used to drink it everyday back. And that habit hasn't worn off huh? It's cute"
Jungkook huffed at the word 'cute'. He wasn't very fond of being called cute, but if it was Taehyung who called him that, then he wouldn't mind at all. He was that Taehyung didn't tease him about drinking banana milk like Yoongi or Hoseok did, they always said it was for kids. On top of that, he called him 'Jungkookie' which he liked. It simply made him fall in love with Taehyung more.
"Anyway, I got a call from my workplace earlier.. they need me there. So I need you to help me with Soobin"
"Ohhkay what's with Soobin?"
"It's the parent - teacher meeting today, I can't go so you have to"
"Woah woah wait- why should I go?- I mean.. like- wouldn't it be weird for me to suddenly claim myself as his parent?"
"What's weird with that? You are his parent, I see nothing wrong with that" Taehyung shrugged and walked to the stove, missing the tint of red on Jungkook's face.

Of course Jungkook had no experience in being a parent. The moment and situation made him realize how hard it would have been for Taehyung to raise Soobin for the past three years as a single parent.
He was holding Soobin's hand and the father and son were standing in front of the school gates. Jungkook crouched down to Soobin's height.
"Soobinnie, are you ready?"
"Yup" Soobin said and flashed a bright smile.
Soobin reminded Jungkook of himself, he looked like a bunny. He reminded when Yoongi told him that Taehyung used to tell him he looked like a bunny, and he still does.
They walked inside, the place was very cute, colorful and childish, apt for the kids. Jungkook went to a school of werewolves when he was young, so it was mostly dark and creepy. The human school gave a way more friendly atmosphere compared to the place he studied in.
Soobin lead Jungkook to his classroom, where there were small tables and chairs along with other parents waiting.
They took a seat and waited for a few minutes for the teacher to walk in.

i said i was gonna speed up updates, im speeding it up even more to everyday updates. i don't know for how long i'll write on wattpad; so yeah.. i'll try to finish as much as i can :)
