Taehyung looked at the wall clock, it said 3pm. It was 3pm and he still hadn't had lunch yet. Maybe he should have just gone with Bogum when he was invited.

He was too lazy to even get up from his place, until he got a call from Jungkook.

"Yes?"

"The meeting is done"

"So.. what did they say about him?"

"Soobin is a kind boy, has amazing leadership skills, helps his teachers, cares for everyone, and no point the teacher said about him was a complaint"

"That's really nice!"

"Yeah and... you know what Tae?"

"Mhm?"

"The reason Soobin grew up this good, is because of you.. unless you had been an amazing parent for these three years, there's no way he'd be an amazing child. You've raised him so well Taehyung... I'm so sorry you had to that alone, I wasn't there when you needed me, I wasn't for Soobin as a father-"

"Hey Jungkook, it's not your fault that you weren't there. We couldn't help it"

"But I still don't think it was right, I should have trusted Yoongi and Hoseok when they told me earlier, I should have agreed for Joshua to have met me earlier, I should have listened to Jimin, I could have trusted them and just accepted the fact that I have a family but... I was a coward, I was afraid that- what if Jisung takes you two as a bait like he did three years back? Would I have the capability to protect my family?"

"If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't have trusted anyone either because, you can't just get yourself to believe that a random person is your lifelong mate. And Jungkook... never doubt yourself about protecting us, I've never felt safer around anyone more than I've felt safer with you"

"Thank you Tae... no matter what you say, your voice is just calming"

"I know haha I ain't working in bighit for nothing"

"Pff narcissist" Jungkook says and scoffed

"You also mentioned about the incident three years ago, do you recall anything?"

"Not exactly, I remembered from what everyone else told me"

"Mhm"

"Also, do you wanna come hangout with me and Soobin?"

"Of course! Where are you two?"

"I'll text to the place, see ya there!"

"Okay then, see you later bunny!"

Jungkook was lucky they had the conversation over the phone or he would have embarrassed himself with his red face.

"Dad dad pleaseee it looks so fun!"

"We have no problem with you going there Soobinnie I'm gonna get bored"

"You have dad though"

"Calling us both dad sounds confusing-"

"Yeah so you can call, him mommy and call me daddy" Jungkook grinned and earned a glare from Taehyung.

"Mommy sounds good!"

"Soobin he was joking, you can call me d-"

"Mommy the bouncy castle!" Soobin pouted at Taehyung and Jungkook busted out laughing.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and went to pay.

"Alright binnie we'll be here in an hour to pick you up, we'll be here in the arcade so don't worry okay? Just stay here and enjoy yourself" Taehyung said with a smile

He might have found that being called 'mommy' for a male was weird, but that was what he longed for... their complete family. He thought Soobin must have felt weird when he introduced Jungkook to him as his father, but it was the opposite. He was so excited that he totally forgot about Taehyung and sticked to Jungkook the whole time.

Jungkook ruffled their son's hair and the boy launched himself into the ball pool of the bouncy castle.

"Shall we?" Jungkook said with his hand in the air, palm facing upwards. His smiley face with cresent shaped eyes made him look more adorable.

Taehyung chuckled and took Jungkook's hand as he intertwined their fingers. They walked to the other games in the arcade.

They had a ton of fun. It was first time they both went out on a date with each other in three years.

They were playing the claw machine game and Taehyung had won a small plushies of a red heart as a face with thick eyebrows and yellow lips. Jungkook had won a pink bunny which looked like it could fight.

Taehyung kept teasing him telling it looked like him. They went around playing whack-a-mole and Jungkook hit every one of them in the thought they were Jisung. He even broke of the moles. If Taehyung hadn't stopped Jungkook after a while, the machine might have been broken to pieces.

Before they knew it, one hour was already over so they went back to the bouncy castle for Soobin. They found him playing and getting along with the other kids.

"Soobinnie let's go!" Taehyung said

Soobin turned around to find his parent and ran to them an launched himself onto Jungkook's arms. Jungkook booped his nose with Soobin's and the boy giggled and Taehyung was there trying not to cry at the cute scene in front of him.

"Let's something to eat"

"Mommy can we get ice cream!"

"I liked dad better Soobinnie" Taehyung said with a pout

"Okay appa! Let's get ice cream please"

"I saw a cold stone on the way"

"Let's go there"

The family leave the arcade and drive away in Jungkook's car to the creamery.
