He's persistent and she's stubborn, add some bumpers on the road and it's already one hell of a life story.
Apparently, all students need to go to school today since our principal has a special announcement and we need to be there. After the day Jaemin confessed to me, Shimizu was practically over the moon for us as if she's the one in a relationship. Taehyun congratulated the both of us but I knew he's bitter about it. Oh well, it can't be helped. My family went completely silent. I have zero idea wether the wedding is on like usual or not.
"I hate going to school." My voice echoed through the walls of my bathroom while I dry myself. Lulu guarded me from outside the door. My uniform is ready and ironed on the bed neatly. Obviously, I did it. You didn't expect Jaemin to stay here and live with me or anything.
"Looks like I'm early." I glanced at the clock that sticked on the dark silver wall. Lulu barked at me once as a response. I made a toast before wearing my shoes to get going. As I head down the lift, there was no people in sight. Perhaps I'm a little too early. "Might as well stop by the mini market for some snacks."
The market was not far from my apartment. Apparently, I saw a few of my schoolmates passing by, mostly first years. I don't get why their so early everyday, well look at myself. I swing the door open and a loud bell rang in time. "Welcome to Chika's mini market!" The old lady greeted me cheerfully.
I bowed and strolled to the drinks section. "There you are, my precious chocolate milk." I sighed dreamily and snatched 2 of them from the racks. "Do you love chocolate milk more than me?" A sweet teasing voice whispered beside my right ear. I quickly smacked that person's head while pulling his shirt collar closer to me.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" Jaemin closed his eyes, ready for another impact. "Oh, it's you, strawberry." I let him go with a small smile on my face. "That hurts! How can you not recognize my voice?" He pouted and poked my cheek. "I knew it was you, actually. Just looking for some entertainment in this early morning."
His cheeks dusted pink, sadly not as pink as his hair. "You have to compensate for that!" I snickered and walked to the onigiri section with Jaemin trailing behind me. "Really? With what?" My hands were about to grab 2 pieces of octopus onigiri's but he took it for me and some extras for himself.
"With 3 kisses and 1 hug!" He said happily, like a child receiving candies. "Seriously?" I asked, not looking at him at all. This guy really likes affections, huh? I've never met someone like this. "Of course. Now give it to me!" He leaned in to my face with his eyes closed. This time, my cheeks flushed red seeing how bold he can be sometimes.
"I'm waiting, you know." A sly smirk formed on his face. I kissed both of his cheeks and forehead respectively once. His eyes shot open, holding both of his cheeks. "What? Bet you didn't think I'd actually do it, didn't you?" He nodded quickly and I laughed. Such an idiot. Lastly, I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him closer to my body. My head resting on his chest while he run his fingers through my hair. I broke the hug and quickly faced the opposite way.
We walked to the counter to pay for the selected items. "You both look so cute together." The old lady complimented us while scanning the items. Jaemin thanked the old lady as he pay for the foods. The plastic in my hand was full for today's snack. "That old lady is so nice." He smiled.
I stared at him. "What's wrong, darling?" His tone was sickeningly sweet. "Shut up, strawberry." I replied shortly and slipped my hands into his because it was starting to feel cold. He gladly intertwined our fingers. "My hands fit perfectly with yours." He grabbed my chin gently and kissed my forehead. "Let's do this more often. I would love to see your angelic face every morning."
