"Just maybe, creating another reality with you isn't so bad after all, Jaemin."
He's persistent and she's stubborn, add some bumpers on the road and it's already one hell of a life story.

"There are days when i just want to disappear into dust."

Wednesday. The day when all of us has to stay an extra of 2 hours at school for our club activities. This is my most hated day in the week. Like, I don't need a club? What is it even for?
"You seem to be so lost in your thoughts." Shimizu poked my cheek lightly. "Can't i just ditch club, today?" I sighed and leaned back to my chair. "No can do." She shrugged.
"Excuse me, are you Kang Y/N?" A smooth voice cut through from behind. "Oh, you're Huang Renjun, aren't you?" Shimizu asked him for confirmation. I swear if he's related to that Jaemin guy, I'm chasing him out of my sight.
"Indeed i am. I'm a friend of Jaemin." That's my call. Before i could speak up, Shimizu gave me the look which made me cancel my plan.
"What do you need?" I averted my gaze back to the window. "Jaemin seems to have taken an interest in you. Do you know why?"
My eyes almost bulged out from my sockets. "I don't even want him around so I don't want to and I don't need to know."
He stayed silent for a few seconds. "What's your favourite dessert, Y/N?" Great, now he's starting to ask random questions. "Go away." I huffed lazily. "Come on, Y/N. Don't treat him like that." Shimizu pulled my ear as she nagged.
"Fine. I like vanilla cupcakes." My best friend looked at me as if i was going nuts. "Don't you-" I covered her mouth and smile forcefully. "That's an answer. Now go away." I glared at the pink haired boy. He nodded and exited the class.
"Lying doesn't look good once you. Vanilla is your most hated flavour." Shimizu gave me an unpleasant look. "Snitching doesn't look good on you either." I chuckled. "I didn't snitch!" "Almost did." I corrected her.

Class ended shortly for the day. Now, it's time for club activities. Just so you know, Shimizu and i are in the baking club. Weird right? Students are sprawling everywhere in every direction.
"There are days when i just want to disappear into dust. Those days are today." I mumbled under my breath. "Come on now, no need to be so negative." She smacked my head as i frown in pain.
Every club member was present at this point. We started to take attendance before moving on to the activities. "Okay, today we will be coffee flavoured cream cakes! Please choose your own station and pick a partner!"
Cream cakes? Coffee? What a unique combination. I might like this one and actually make an effort to bake it. We were given a sheet of paper for the instructions and a short demo performed by the teacher. Soon enough, we started baking.
"Pour a little bit more sugar." "Make sure the batter is mixed properly." "Sprinkle the coffee dusts carefully." "Don't add too much cream in the cakes."
Those were the words our president and vice president keep on telling to each club members.
An hour finally passed and we are now waiting for the cakes to bake in the oven. "What a fun recipe! We can do this again." Shimizu clapped her hands happily while i wipe the table. "Sure." I replied.
We are finally allowed to go home. Since each duo baked 6 coffee cream cakes, me and Shimizu took 3 each to bring back home. She bid me goodbye and we walked to the opposite sides.
I arrived home safely. The night looks like it's going to rain soon. I slouched on the sofa and turned on the television after taking a shower.
"The media has confirmed that Kang Yeonwoo, the son of the CEO of Hi-Tech will get married to the daughter of Park Seojun, Park Minjoo in a few months."
The picture of our whole family showed up above the news title. Everyone was smiling including me. I wonder if it was genuine enough.
I turned off the television. "Arranged marriage? That sucks." I shook my head trying to get rid of the uneasy feeling. "I wonder if Yeonwoo is actually willing to get married with her."
Ting!
A notification popped from my phone. I fumbled to get it across the table. An unknown number displayed on the screen. I tapped on the chat box curiously.
Unknown: Hello! How are you? Did you eat yet?!
You: Who are you?
Unknown: Oh, that was rude of me hahah! I'm Na Jaemin! Remember me?
