He put each item on the table as he spoke and I stare at the intricate gold knife that had been placed in front of me, it almost felt too valuable for me to touch it. Ragnok looks at me expectantly so I pick it up and slowly cut my hand about two milimetres deep and dig my (albeit blunt) nails into the slice, I don't even flinch, this isn't even that major for me. I let three scarlett drops fall onto each page and watch as it starts to scrawl words across the page. I prepare myself to read them, I look up at Ragnok when I think they are finished, he nods. I pick up the first page and vagually notice, as Ragnok said, that my hand has healed completly without so much as a scar. I take a deep breath and begin to read.
