"Who are you rooming with?" Hannah asked Dean as he packed their suitcases and carry ons into his car.
"Jesse and Paddy. You and Marie together?"
"Of course," she laughed, "like they'd have us room with anyone else?"
"Just a question," he rolled his eyes, "how come you only have to share a suite with Marie, and I have to share mine with two other guys. We're the players!"
"But that doesn't sound bratty at all, Dean," Hannah teased, "we have a lot more stuff we gotta keep in our room. Marie has all her camera equipment, and I have my lap top-"
"Hannah, your laptop fits in a backpack!"
"If you had let me finish, we're the only ones going. So I have to have the camera and sound equipment in our room too," she laughed again before getting into the car.
Hannah smiled looking over at Dean. She was excited to be travelling with him. Neither of them had expected Dean to get called up to be apart of the squad van Gaal was taking to the States for the ICC. Hannah was so proud of Dean. She knew he had been working incredibly hard. In addition to training with the U-18 team, he was also doing his own private trainings. Hannah helped with them as she could. She was terrible with a ball, but she did her best.
"What location are you looking forward to the least?" Hannah asked.
"You're such a journalist," he laughed.
"Shut up," she rolled her eyes, "just answer the question."
"I don't know. I'm just excited to be going. All that hard work is finally paying off."
"I'm proud of you, Dean," Hannah smiled and squeezed his shoulder, "you deserve it."
"I appreciate it," he grinned, "love ya."
"I love you too," she smiled.
It was a quick drive to Old Trafford. Hannah immediately spotted Marie not far from the team bus. One of the newer photographers ran towards them and photographed them pulling in. Hannah held up her hand and waved.
Dean pulled into his designated spot. A couple people came over to help get their suit cases. Hannah and Marie were going to be on the same bus as the players to get pictures and quick video interviews.
The two of them walked toward the bus together. Dean had his arm around her shoulders and pulled her in close making sure to cover her face with one of his hands.
"This is brilliant," Marie laughed.
"I hate you both," Hannah rolled her eyes.
Hannah then instead pulled out her work phone and opened up the camera. She switched it to video mode and smiled. "Henderson siblings here! It's our first trip with Manchester United together. Dean, how are you feeling?"
"Super excited to get to travel with the first team. I'm also excited because I know you and Marie were looking forward to time without me. BUT HERE I AM!" Dean yelled getting closer to the camera.
"Okay enough of that," Hannah laughed, "I'm glad you're here. You've been working so hard lately. Proud of you, Dean."
"Thanks, Hannah. I love you," he grinned and kissed her cheek.
"I love you too, Deano," Hannah grinned before turning off the camera.
"Want me to save you seat?"
"No thanks. I'll sit with Marie."
"Okay sounds good," he nodded and jogged up to the bus.
"How are you?" Marie asked.
"Good. Excited," she grinned.
"Does Dean have his passport?"
"It's in my backpack."
"What would he do without you?" Marie shook her head.
"Not too well," Hannah giggled.
"I'm not convinced that nothing happened between you and Luke. The looks you two give each other? That's enough sexual tension to be Fifty Shades of Gray," Marie looked at her.
"We're friends. Yeah there's an attraction, but we talked about that when we went for drinks. I don't want a boyfriend right now. I'm too focused on my career. I've never wanted to date someone I work with, and now that Dean's been called up to train with the first team, I don't want to date one of my brother's teammates."
"So you two are just going to sit there and look at each other longingly across the field? For the rest of time?"
"I guess so."
"You're fucking stupid."
"Wow thanks a lot," Hannah huffed, "some best friend you are."
"Speak of the devil," Marie smirked as Luke walked towards the bus with a big grin.
Hannah watched as Marie took a few pictures of Luke. He stopped and gave her a quick side hug before getting on the bus. He stopped part of the way up the stairs. Luke looked back and winked at her. She huffed and rolled her eyes again when she saw Marie smirking at her.
"Wipe that look off your face," she sneered.
"No," Marie smirked.
It was another half hour before Hannah and Marie got on the bus as well. The two of them walked to the back. Hannah saw Dean chatting with Adnan and Jesse. She smiled and lightly hit the back of his head only to have him retaliate and push her as she walked. Hannah tripped and fell.
"I will kill you," she hissed at her brother standing up.
"I'd like to see you try, short stuff," he smirked.
"Don't test me," she brushed her hands on her jeans.
"You alright?" Luke asked, looking over at her.
"Yeah no thanks to this dumbass," Hannah hit her brother's arm.
"Next time I'll push you harder."
"Please try not to break Hannah or Marie. They're the only members from the media team we have with us," Wayne spoke up.
"Yeah. Listen to your Captain," Hannah smirked before walking back to her seat next to Marie.
"Listen to your captain," Dean mocked her.
"You two," Marie rolled her eyes as she sat down.
"Thought you were getting rid of him," Hannah laughed.
"We will never be free of him," Marie shook her head.
"You're stuck with us forever!"
