"Hang on a minute." A thought just occurred to Kiree.

"Did you say that the guard was present outside when you came up to my door?"

"No... I said that there was ogre's gardening. YOU said that they were the guard." I was confused by the sudden question. It had caught me off-guard.

"We need to get you out of here. NOW." Kiree suddenly started jumping in all directions. I was no clearer on what was going on.

"Look I don't understand why you're suddenly-"

"They will know you are here!" Kiree interrupted.

"We didn't have time for this discussion. They had to get out of there as soon as possible so that they both weren't captured."

Something told me that if we were caught, we wouldn't be given unicorns to ride around with free unlimited food.

"Will you hurry up!" Kiree snapped.

I pulled herself off the ground unsure of where they would be heading in such a hurry. If the guards were now onto them, I couldn't exactly return home.

"Where are we going?" I confusedly asked as we hurried through the house to a door that you wouldn't have noticed unless you lived there.

"Away from here! We need to find somewhere safe. I don't think the kind will be too happy to find that you are here again." Kiree explained with a huff, agitated at all the questions being thrown her way.

"Look, we really don't have time to stop and talk about what we are doing. If you want to narrate the situation, now isn't the time." she stopped to explain, attempting to put an end to any more unhelpful questions before they started.

"Okay." I shrugged unhappily. I wasn't one to rush around unknowingly. But supposed it was an adventure.

Leaving through the door, Kiree looked twice around them.

"Run." She told me.

Running through the house's gardens to get away without being seen.

Once they had reached the same spot as last time with the treehouse. Kiree stopped, bending over and panting with her hands on her knees.

"Right, anything you wanted to ask earlier; you can ask now." She told me breathless.

"How exactly does the guard govern? What will they do to me if they find me? How can I stay hidden here? I doubt I will be able to home for a while, the guards will be out in the town you found me in, won't they? What do we do now?-" The thoughts flowed out of my head in a large string of incomprehensible dribble.

Kiree had put her hand up to stop me from rattling on further.

"Let's do this one at a time, shall we. You aren't giving me enough time to answer the questions first. I won't be able to remember all of them." At this point, Kiree had managed to stand back up to speak directly to me.

"Let's get up in the treehouse and start again with the interrogation. We will be safer there." She tried reassuring me.

"So, Start again. BUT one at a time." She told me sternly.

Nodding my head, I began her questioning once more.

"What are the guards like to people they don't like?"

"Rough, they aren't that nice, you get treated almost as a prisoner, meaning that they won't care if they are hurting you when shoving you to move forward. If you fall, they will mock you and laugh, getting the rest of the town to join in. If they also carry out all punishments in this kingdom." Kiree let her words hang in the air.

"Next question." She awaited the next one.

"Erm. So, what will they do exactly if they catch me in your realm?" I didn't really want to know the answer but had asked anyway.

"I don't know." There was a brief pause.

"I suppose you would be treated as either a slave or as a prisoner. Depends on how much they need staff really."

"When will I be able to leave?" This was the real question I did want the answer to.

"That I'm not sure either, we will have to monitor the guards to find out."

"People are out hunting you." The new deep voice made both the girls jump.

"Who are you?" I asked frightened at the same time Kiree promised:

"I will not let you tell them where she is." Kiree was stood glaring at the person behind me. Turning and spotting a guy that was around 5"11.

Sitting on the rail of the treehouse, he had a hue of green skin, with slight spikes on the top of his head. Pointy fingernails and skin that looked rough to the touch. He had a playful smirk se upon his lips, eyes as golden as anything.

"Did I break you?" The Goblin laughed at Clare.

"No." I scoffed back glaring.

"Well, you weren't saying a word. But you seemed more than happy enough to chatter on just now." He countered back.

"Well, if you don't mind yo-" Kiree began to snarkily say before getting interrupted.

"Don't." He commanded.

They glared at each other until Kiree eventually turned away giving up muttering under her breath.

"Don't what?" I said very confused. Kiree and the stranger glanced at each other eyes wide, I still had no answer.

"Don't. WHAT?" I repeated.

"Oh erm. He was telling me not to wind him up today with nicknames." Kiree thought quickly on her feet.
