It had been a couple of days since we had left that place and gone back to my world. Both Kiree and Drew had been trying their best to act as if I still had just as much trust in them. But I'd learnt my lesson now over trusting people so much without properly knowing them. I had thought a lot over the last conversation with them. Them adamant that I was the person in their legend, that their ground was connected to, giving me warning signs of what was to come. Telling me that they would soon revel why it comes about giving us chance to stop it. They wouldn't gain it back so easily after lying to me. I had to get them a couple of hoodies for them to cover their faces so my parents wouldn't see they weren't from here before shuffling them quickly up the stairs to my room. Kiree had been stuck in there most of the days, me taking her out at night to show her some of the world. Drews face was easier to disguise so was currently following me to school.

"We have to sort this out some point sweetness." Drew blew out, swinging his arms now right next to me.

I rolled my eyes.

"Look, you can't just gain trust back that you lost from your own actions." I let the hurt seep into my voice.

He winced from the raw emotion. His step faltering just the littlest bit.

"You must understand why I did it." He pleaded quietly.

"I understand that you can't just give either one of us the same level of trust at the snap of a hand, but it doesn't mean to say that you need to completely change who you are around us because of it. You should continue to be yourself...Not some person who doesn't want to socialise with others unless absolutely necessary." He finished his lecture.

"The clouds back." I replied looking up at the thing that taunts me.

"What?" Drew asked puzzled over the sudden statement.

I gave a light-hearted laugh. I had already known what he was planning on saying to me after overhearing him rehearsing it in my mirror this morning when he thought both Kiree and I were asleep. It had already resonated with me. Now all that wanted to occupy my mind was the taunting of the door. A sudden craving o be back in that clearing hit me at full force; pulling my attention and mind back to it. The longing edging into my heart, with no way to tame the pain other than going back.

"Beautiful eyes, come back down to this realm.." I heard Drews distant words.

Shaking my head back into reality, I let out a groan now right next to the school. Drew stepped into my path making sure I couldn't go any further forward.

"We need to have a little conversation before we get back to your house." He stated as he studied me waiting until I let out a nod of confirmation to move out of my path.

"Let the day of boring begin." I groaned following in all the other students.

Explaining who Drew was, well in the best sense I was able to, to the teachers that morning had been very difficult; no one had been told of a new student, luckily for me, Drew was better at thinking on his feet than myself when it came to explanations. Although that was an already known fact from when he had kept his actual family identity secret from me. Seeming as if he had a lot of practice of pretending to be someone else.

At this point in time, it wasn't something I looked badly upon, I didn't have enough sense to come up with a background for him myself before this point. Not honestly expecting either Kiree nor Drew to really come to my school.

Drew sat listening intently to the teacher during the history lesson. Nearly everyone else was chatting quietly to themselves having learnt bits and pieces of the second world war before this point. Rolling up the paper in front of me, I began throwing to the best of my ability the balls I'd formed. One went bouncing off the top of his hair, the second breezed passed his arm, narrowly touching it on the way before hitting the back of the guy just in front of him.

A giggle of anticipation left my lips as i stuck my tongue out, eyes narrowing onto my target as I took a few practice shots without letting go of the ball, until I fluidly let it go soaring forward dead on point this time. Before the paper could hit him, his hand flew out catching it as he turned his eyes towards me mock glaring disapprovingly.

"YOU...STOP..." he mouthed.

I blinked a few times before widening my eyes and looking away, keeping my mouth from curling up in a smile, acting as innocently as possible.

"Who? Me? " I gestured mouthing back.

His smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth, Drew just shook his head and turned back around listening to the last five minutes of the teacher's planned speech.

"You two look adorable together." Daisy gushed quietly in my ear as she caught up after class. I rolled my eyes letting out a breathily laugh, my eyes rolling.

"You've got it all wrong dai." I stated, keeping my voice even not wanting to admit to my crush.

"Mmhmm" is the only reply I got in response, her eyebrows wiggling as she let go of my sides and bounced down the hallway towards the others.

Lightly palming my left cheek, I was glad to feel they weren't hot. Drew said nothing as he continued to follow me. I had a feeling that this act was going to get annoying and old fast. Constantly being followed around by someone seeming like a lost puppy in ways in my world.

"Guys, meet Drew. He's the child of a friend of my mums from another part of the country..." I stated gesturing to him and trailing off at the end.

Drew was just stood there studying them, before giving a goofy smile, anyone could see he was about to start sputtering nonsense to make them at ease.
