We arrived in Moscow at about 12 in the afternoon. I must say it's quite chilly. The sweatsuit I was wearing didn't do much, but it helped. When I got off the plane, I was completely mesmerized. Russia is a stunningly beautiful country. The buildings were magnificent and the air was so crisp. The sky was a beautiful orange colour and the clouds were scattered all over it.

We didn't land at an ordinary airport. Instead, we landed in a private section. Alec and I got out of the plane and walked all the way around a section to get a taxi.

I didn't know where the hell I was going, so I just followed behind Alec like an idiot. We reached the main road, and I saw the city filled with people. Everything's so different here. Everyone was busy walking about their day. They didn't even take a second to glance at you.

We crossed the road and went to where the taxis were passing. "We should just stay at the nearest hotel and tour the city tomorrow," I told Alec and he nodded. He held his hand out and the yellow sedan stopped. We placed our suitcases in the trunk and Alec opened the car door for me to get in.

"Zdravstvuyte," I told the driver. I learned that it was the formal way of saying hello.

The driver greeted me, saying the same thing and I smiled, feeling proud that I had got it right. Alec came in and closed the door.

"Zdravstvuyte, otvezi nas v blizhayshiy otel." Alec said and the driver started driving. I started pouting because I wanted to be more fluent. [Hello, take us to the nearest hotel]

The drive was very smooth. I almost fell asleep. I'm definitely visiting Russia again. We arrived at a skyscraper that appeared to be white and green a few minutes later. My eyes were wide and my mouth was open. I've never seen anything like this. We got out and took our belongings with us. Alec paid the driver and he took off.

We went all the way up to the front desk and Alec did all the talking, obviously. I was busy looking around, not listening to what they were saying. I felt someone pushing me and I turned to see that it was Alec. "Have you finished looking around?" he said, unfazed by this beautiful place. I shook my head and we walked to the elevator.

We got to room 405, which was on the fifth floor. Alec opened the door and I stepped in. I was greeted by two neatly-spread beds, covered in white sheets. This room was perfect. Everything was colour coordinated and nothing was out of place. I dropped my things and went over to the window. When I opened it, I got a clear view of the entire city. I knew it would look even better at night.

We relaxed for the entire day and watched TV. Of course, we chose Netflix because the TV was in Russian. While we were watching, we were plotting how to join the mafia.

Eventually, we got hungry, ordered room service, showered, and went to bed.

A week passed and I was getting comfortable being in Russia. We toured the city and now I know a couple of places. Going on the streets daily, I would hold conversations with natives and they would help me with certain things, knowing that I'm not from here.

Today's Friday, and we are going to a club. Alec informed me that it was owned by the Mafia, so it was the ideal opportunity for me. Our strategy was straightforward: just get kidnapped. I know it sounds strange, but that's the only way right now. After getting kidnapped, I'll fake my way through everything.

I left Alec at the hotel and decided to go shopping for tonight. I got to change some of the US dollars in my bag into rubles. I went to the bank and got a safe and placed the laptop, thumb drive, and other important things in it for safekeeping.

I found a female clothing store and went inside. I wanted to wear something that would stand out yet be conservative. Because I'll be carrying my gun, I'd like to wear a bodycon-fitting dress with a little flare. I currently have my thigh holster with me, but that's going to be hard to conceal in the dress I want.
