"Oscar, you are worse than a girl. Can you please just hurry up so we can go?" I crossed and uncrossed my arms again and sighed at Oscar's door where he was taking his sweet time to get ready.

He shook his head at me and seemed to move even slower than before. "Please, I was ready an hour ago when I wanted to leave and you were still in bed."

"Whatever, when Mom comes to visit in a few days and we don't have her birthday present, I'll be sure to tell her it was your fault." Restless to do something, I went to the living room and stretched out on the couch, starting a new episode of the show I was watching.

Right as it was getting good, I felt Oscar flick my forehead and laugh at my annoyed face. "I'm ready now."

Without waiting he walked out the door, saying hello to someone. I rubbed at my forehead, mumbling as I gathered up my jacket and keys. Without looking up, I turned and collided with something solid.

Danny was smiling down at me and immediately wrapped me in his arms. "You should probably watch where you're going there."

All of the irritation I had melted away with his hug, but I was too stressed that someone would see to fully enjoy it. Oscar already told me all of his friends were off limits and this would definitely count.

I pulled away with a smile that matched his. "What are you doing here? You said you were doing a photoshoot with Christian?"

"Christian cancelled and Jc needed help with something so he called me. I thought you were shopping with Oscar?" He was giving me an amused smile as his eyes moved to the red spot Oscar had left. "Do you need me to kiss your boo boo?

I reached up to give him a matching mark, but he dodged away before I could reach. "First of all I am leaving with him right now, and second of all you can't kiss my boo boo because with our luck someone will walk in."

Danny had just started to wrap his arms back around me and tell me we would be fine when the door opened. He sprang back and pretended to be interested in one of the dogs toys, making Oscar frown between us. "What are you guys doing?"

"Gosh, I was just saying hi. Is that a crime?" Oscar seemed taken aback at my defensive tone and I tried to cover it up. "I'm still mad at you and my forehead hurts."

"Poor baby. Now get in my car or I leave without you." He shut the door with a wave to Danny, and he raised his eyebrows at me.

"You heard the man. You could stay here with me."

I patted his shoulder and gave it a squeeze, walking past him and out the door to where Oscar was still frowning. "Yes, can I help you?"

"Since when are you and Danny friends?"

I kept my face neutral and shrugged. "I mean he's here 24/7, how could I not be?" Oscar took my answer as good enough and didn't ask anymore questions.

I spent the entire day anxious to get back to the house, hoping that whatever Jc needed help with was going to take all day. When we got back and Danny's car was still in the driveway, I had to hold in the urge to skip to the door.

When I got inside, I found Jc, Will, and Danny around the ping pong table. Danny gave me a disinterested head nod, which made me frown even though I knew he didn't want to be super obvious. I mimicked him and took Oscar's bags from his hands as he came in. "I'll take these to my room so I can wrap them for Mom later."

I made a big deal of looking at Danny, hoping he would catch on to what I was doing. I sat on my bed for around fifteen minutes until he finally poked his head in with a smile. "Sorry, I couldn't figure out a way to get away from them."

"I just wanted a couple minutes with you," I said, looping my arms around his shoulders. "I was hoping not many people would be here so we wouldn't have to be as careful."

He laughed, his arms curling around my waist. "You live here, haven't you realized by now it's pure chaos?"

I had my eyes closed, resting my head on Danny's shoulder and feeling so content that the gasp I heard behind me made me jump. Danny let go of me immediately and I felt my stomach drop, slowly turning around to find Oscar with his arms crossed.

"Living room. Now."

Danny's face was bright red as we both walked cautiously towards the couch, taking our seats with a lot of space between us. Oscar had now begun pacing in front of us, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Oscar," I tried, but he put his hand up to stop me.

We sat in torturous silence for what felt like hours until Oscar stopped and turned to face us. "How long has this been happening?"

Danny cleared his throat uncomfortably. "Two months, maybe three." He flinched as if he thought this would make Oscar more mad but he just nodded and looked to me.

"Remember when we had the talk about not dating my friends?" I nodded slowly and waited for him to continue. "Well now we are going to have a different talk."

Will and Jc came in, their smiles almost giddy. I frowned at Danny, who had the same expression. "Which is?"

"Oh I think you already know," Will said, his smile almost too excited.

Danny and I came to the same realization at the same time, our faces turning bright red in embarrassment. Oscar seemed to take delight in this face and smiled. "If you're going to date my baby sister, I have to make sure you know everything you need to."

"I do! I had this class in high school, please don't make me sit here and learn it again. I swear, I'm not going to do anything bad!" Danny's hands were running through his hair in distress and if I wasn't feeling the same way I would be laughing.

Oscar looked at me and smiled. "Do you need the refresher course?" I shook my head quickly and he dropped beside me on the couch, pulling me in a hug. "Are you doing this just to make me mad?"

"It would be a great idea but no, I'm doing this because I want to."

He looked to where Danny was still a little red. "Well if you had to pick anyone I'm glad it was him." I smiled at Oscar and hugged him back, stiffening when he gave an evil laugh. "We are for sure still having this talk."

The boys began eagerly jumping into their lesson, not caring that Danny and I were jamming our fingers in our ears and squeezing our eyes shut.
