Hay, thanks to whoever made the book cover for me. It's nice!
Ok people, I'm going to fix the first chapters, maybe cuz I'm gonna make them flow better. Probably. Well, I would appreciate it if someone would comment.

Chapter three
Jeremy
Flashback 2 and 3/4 years exactly 3 months before it happens
You'll understand what that^ meant later :)
"Ow! Stop hitting me will you! That hurts Jeremy!"
My stupid brother stared at me with his green eyes that looked like pure evil before smiling a vile grin and smirking at me as he went to 4th hour biology.
Even though Jeremy is the older brother by two years it seems like I'm the more mature one. He was always doing stupid stuff like punching me and giving me wedgies or a noogie. He enjoys torturing me and watching me squirm. I hate it but I still love him and want to be close to him.
"Why can't you just stop being mean!" I yelled as I watched him walk away. He was wearing his brown jacket that all the girls seemed to like him in. They said it brought out his eyes. Yeah right. He was a total jerk, but nice to everyone else. He said it was the age difference, but I think he was just mad because he was no longer the baby and mom had to look after both of us.
"Grow up and maybe I will." he said with a sneer.
"Your the one who needs to grow up" I murmured as I grabbed my backpack and headed to 4th hour. At least I had math now. I like math class since it's easy and all my friends are in it. I'm a strait A student so all my teachers love me too. That just makes school a whole lot easier.
I'm sorry I can't say the same for Jeremy. His teachers hate him. He is a good for nothing, trouble-making, throw spit-balls at the board, jerk of a student who can't even pass Mrs. McCullum's English class! And she is the easiest teacher in the world! He never pays attention, and is always goofing off.
Well, I guess he wants to fail ninth grade. It's his choice, but mom won't be too happy when she sees his report card. I found it in his locker the other day. It was mostly all C's and F's with one A. The A was in P.E. If there is one thing Jeremy is good at, it's definitely sports.
Jeremy is really strong. He can probably lift 300 pounds. He could run a mile in under two minuets and do at least 30 pull ups and 50 push ups in under two minuets as well. He is like a machine! That's why he passes his classes. His coach persuades the principle to pass him on.
I for one, think that, is a mistake.
As I walked into class I could see Seth talking to Will and Lillian sitting at her desk trying to read a book while some annoying girl was blabbing on about herself.
I sat down next to Lillian and tried to save her from Susan's story about how her dad owned the biggest advertisement company in New York.
"Susan, can't you see that Lillian is reading?" I asked her. All she did was stare at me like I was the devil before walking to her seat in the middle of the popular group.
"Honestly! That girl needs to get things strait! Where does she get off bugging you to death and acting like she is better then everyone else just because her dad has money and a big company?" I growled.
"Well, she doesn't really know any better. She was raised like a princess and that's just how she acts. She doesn't have anyone to teach her any different." Lillian stated.
Sigh. I hate that Lillian always has a point that keeps me from being mad at someone.
"Maybe... Well, anyways. What are you reading?" I asked.
"I'm reading 'The Man From Mars'. It's about a man who was born and raised on mars. He has all the abilities of the martians but he comes to earth and is completely confused. He falls in love with Jill and starts this whole new belief or something like that. It's really interesting. I'm almost done with it." she replied.
I looked at the book on her hands and realized just how big it was. "It's as thick as my hand is wide!" I exclaimed.
At that moment the teacher walked in.
Lillian only chuckled as she put the book away and prepared for class.

Brrrinnnnnggg
I nearly fell out of seat as the bell pulled me out of my concentration. I was so engrossed in solving this problem that I had lost track of time. I walked over by Lillian and asked if she would sit with me during lunch.
"You know we always do." she smiled. By we she means us. Will, Seth, me and herself. We are a group.
As I looked for an emptie table where we could sit I noticed Jeremy sitting over by himself. He looked a little freaked out. Like he had seen a ghost or something. I just don't know what's been wrong with him lately. He'd be fine one moment, then start acting all weird and scared or just plain old panicked the next.
Like I said, he has been being weird lately.
I watched as he stared into space, seeming to be concentrating on something far away. Suddenly he came back to reality and started eating lunch with a strange expression on his face. He didnt even seem to notice as I walked past him..

Jeremy's P.O.V.
As I walked into the lunch room from biology I sensed that It was calling to me again. It wanted to talk to me again. It was becoming impatient and angry. It wanted me, but I wont let it get me for what it wanted me for. Whatever it was that It wanted me for, It wasn't going to get. I refused to cave in. If only for Glen and my mom.
Glen may think I hate him, but I'm only preparing him for the worst. In case this doesnt work and I get captured. The only reason I never pay attention in class is because of It. It keeps bugging me and I'm really starting to worry about everything. I'm getting paranoid and the only thing I can concentrate on is P.E. I don't even enjoy torturing my brother anymore. I just can't take it anymore!
'You are fighting a lost battle my foolish child. Don't you see? I get what I want. And you have what I need to finally succeed in my plans! You are the key to unlocking the Secrets of Gelderesh. You are my key to ruling Gonderash!' The voice that had been haunting me for weeks, penetrating my dreams, and giving me nightmares said. It would not stop until either I caved in, or It ran out of time and had to come and get me.
It was either that or I kill myself first. There was no way I could let It get to me like it had gotten to Salashida. I would not alow his sacrifice for me to be useless. I needed to find a way. But how? How can I go on and defeat him. How can I do this without you Salashida?
I'm not ready for this.
I refocused on the world around me and resumed eating my lunch alone.
'You will be mine!'
