Unexpected but beautiful

London 8:30 am

It was a lovely Sunday morning, the birds were chirping, Sonakshi was sleeping in Rohit's arms.

R: "Good morning beautiful.." He kissed her forehead.

S: "Rohit mujhe sone do please kal raat tumne mujhe sone nahi diya..."

R: "What maine sone nahi diya ya tumne."

S: "Whatever please let me sleep."

He awoke, went to the bathroom, freshened up and got ready for work. Then he went into the kitchen made breakfast for himself and Sona. He wrote something in a booklet, put the note under the mug and went to work.

Rohit entered his cabin with some nurses and physicians, discussing some cases of heart transplants.

R: "Maria please gives me Mr.Peter's report.

M: "Ok Dr. Rohit"

Maria is a sweet Briton. She was Rohit's assistant nurse. Wherever he needed something, she was there for him. Moments later, he went to see his patients.

AT Home 10 a.m.

Sona wakes up with her left side empty. As usual, Rohit was nowhere to be found. She went into the bathroom to freshen up. She saw herself in the mirror, her eye was red because she couldn't sleep last night. Then she caught, there was a hickey on her neck, all flashbacks staring at her.

*Back last night at 11 pm*

It was heavily raining outside, Sona was in a red saree as she just came from her best friend Tanya's wedding anniversary party. Rohit also went with her, but midway through the party, he received an emergency call, so he left for the hospital. Sona stood near their living room large windows, watching the rain trickle down with a mug of piping hot coffee in her hand. Suddenly, the bell rang. She knew it was Rohit because who else would show up at these hours rather than him. She put the mug on the side table and walked in to open the door. As soon she opened it, she saw Rohit was completely drenched.

S: "Rohit Yeh Kya hua tumhe..."

R: "Haan Sona woh raste mein gadhi kharab ho gaya tha. That why I am late and got drenched." He said entering into the house. She shut the door.

S: "Tum jaldi se change karlo varna tumhe thand lag jayega."

R: "Ok drama queen!"

S: "How's the patient?"

R: "Now she's good stable."

S: "Tumne dinner kya... tum toh party mein bina khaye nikal gaye."

R: "Haan Sona main hospital ke cantine se kuch Kha liya" Then he made his way to the bedroom.

In the bedroom, Sona in front of the mirror was removing her bangles and earrings. Then she struggled to open the safety pin of her saree which was stuck with her blouse at the same time Rohit came back from the shower while wrapping the towel around his waist. Sona walked to him and asked to help her.
