She opened her eyes, the truck was coming in full force, took a deep breath and within a second, swiftly took a sharp U-turn very harshly that made her shook it off. Drove it very fast and once again as a result of the blizzard, she failed to notice when the green light went red. Braked the car with full force in the red signal but due to the slippery road, the car lurched and ended up going off-road into the sideway. As soon as the car hit the tree very hard, Sonakshi clutched her tummy, squeezed her eyes in fear as she was shaking and that made her forehead hit the steering and ended up having a bruise. Dizziness overwhelmed her with a tingling sensation in her lower abdomen. She was clutching her stomach, trying to stave off the cramp. A tear began to flow out from her eyes. The only thing that was running in her mind was it's her baby is ok? She was unable to drive. Sat down like that for a few minutes while panting heavily. Thankfully, there were no pedestrians. Otherwise, the situation would be even more worse. When the dizziness and pain subsided a bit, then started the engine, but it's didn't work. Tried again, failed. Then for the third time, she did and finally started! She surely has to give the car for servicing into the garage but not now after, maybe a few days later. Then before any police or ambulance could arrive, she drove home and that wasn't very far away from there. Only a few minutes.

Sonakshi came home. Shut the door by
Panting heavily. She dropped her bag on the couch, took off her winter coat, boots and scarf. Put them in the closet at the entrance. Feeling thirsty that why went to the kitchen, open the tap, filled her mug and then drank. She drank in one shot as her throat was very dry due to tension and was constantly thinking about her baby. Is he or she is ok? Closed the tap water and calmed down a bit by head down by palming the countertop on both sides of the sink. She was still breathless.S:" Oh God! Why do feel some cramp? Please God save my baby! Usko kuch mat hone dena please!" She was mumbling.
When she lifted her eyes, her eyes fell upon the clock that hung over the wall of the dining table. It was already six o clocks. Then realized that Rohit didn't come home yet. But he was supposed to be here by five. Looked around no one was there. Then decided to take a shower and get into her casual before he came. Though she already took it in the morning but looking at her state deshelved hair, dried tears and smudged khol under her eyes, she surely needs a hot shower now to relax. Forgetting about what happened an hour ago or was about to happen and beyond that, she can't let Rohit know about it at any cost or else he will be mad at her that why she covered the car with a car cover in the garage.

Rohit came out of the OT when he took off his scrub. Removed his glove and put them to the bin. He was exhausted, drank a bottle of water to ease his dry throat as it has been two hours that nothing has been in his stomach. He then walked down the hallway, chatting with his colleague. Halted in front of the cafe while they went ahead into their cabin.
R: "One French vanilla please?"
He ordered. Then he looked through the glass where all the pastry and Danish and croissant were put up. Seeing it, his tummy grumbled in hunger.
"And two cheese croissants please."
Took for himself and Sonakshi as she loves them. While waiting for his order, he was scrolling through his phone and then gave a call to Sona to know her well-being but she didn't pick up. Then called her again but same response again. The last he spoke to her was in the morning when she was wandering into the yard of their building.
"Yeh Sona ko kya ho gaya phone kyun nahi uthara ha hai mera."
