A horrible ringing plays out in my head as my vision slowly returns to me. My body ached like I had been run over by a truck or something. It takes a solid minute but I eventually manage to pull myself up from the pavement I was laying on. I groan as I try to remember what in the world had just happened. Though, no such memories came to me. I let out a small sigh and try to see where I ended up, hoping I wasn't too far away from home. What I saw baffled me, as everything appeared gigantic compared to me. I was in some kind of store, though for me it would be a super market, and it looked like some raid had happened here as everything looked bashed and torn. Not wanting to stay in the same place I quickly run to the front door and find it opened luckily. (Not sure if I could've moved it myself.) The outside looked dull and dead, as everything was a dark shade of what they SHOULD be. The buildings were tall and worn down, looking like they could collapse at any moment, and no sign of life could be seen anywhere. I pondered if a disaster had struck, but that wouldn't have explain me being tiny, or the world getting larger, so I push it down for now. The whole world just looked like someone managed to kill it, and the eerie breeze didn't help at all. I just decided to continue my search for any living being and, as luck would have it, I found someone. Though, I had the feeling they weren't up for conversations. They looked to be a man around 50 TIMES MY SIZE! (But then again, I might just be small... But I'm going to go with he's big.) He wore a simple dress shirt and pants, though I couldn't see his face. He was turned to a TV that glowed with a static glow, almost as if it was hypnotising him. I felt a strong urge to look at the TV as well, but got a creepy vibe from it. It felt like it was important though. I got closer to the wall and got a better look at his face... Well, 'face' is a very loose term apparently.
It wasn't that he didn't have a face, but it didn't quite look like one either. His mouth stretched past where his nose should be, his eyes were gone and his sockets stretched into swirls, and said nose looked like it was melting into his skull. I wanted to throw up so bad, but I was too scared to even do that. So I pressed on, hoping that I didn't need to witness more horrific people in order to get back home...
Bad news, there were more of them. All of their bodies were distorted in some way, their faces were always the worst. Sometimes they would have strange looking limbs, but only a few... Good news however, I started to remember how I ended up here in the first place. I remember being at my mom's home, (As my parents were divorced.), and sitting in front of the TV as mom was making dinner. She was busy with her friends, chatting, so she nearly screamed when we had a sudden power outage... Ok, I nearly screamed... Mom had gone to check the power box and not a few minutes later the TV had turned on by itself somehow... After that it's all blurry and messy. The last thing I could make out clearly was a hand reaching for me... I shove my hands into my sweater's pockets as I continue to walk past more distorted people. If they even ARE people. I did my best to look away from the TVs as they seem to be bad news and I eventually ended up walking to a school. It was still massive, but also somehow smaller than the rest of the buildings here. (Welp, if I were to find anyone anywhere, it would be here. *GROAN*) The last place I wanted to go was school, but I just had a gut feeling that there might be-
