Backstory of Seven.
Seven slowly opened his eyes as his head throbbed in pain. He'd try to take in a few breaths, but found himself unable to do so. (Ok, stay calm. What happened?) Seven began to picture the events in his head, but they were mostly fuzzy. He does remember running from Rodgers, meeting a few gnomes. Turning into one... And that yellow raincoat girl... Oh, know it all came back to him. (Wait, shouldn't I be dead then?) Seven thought to himself as he finally got his body to sit up. He felt a wave of uneasiness as he pulled himself to his feet. He looked around the room he was in, and it was the same room as before. A big table, a window thing, and 2 door ways. The only real difference was that it was much dustier now, with cobwebs and dust littered around like an infection. Seven rubbed his head a bit, but found no feeling to his touch. He tried again, but the same result occurred. Carefully, he moved his hand in front of his face, and made a shocking discovery. His hand was see-through. In fact, his entire arm was see-through. Seven glanced down and saw his whole body shared this feature, which led him to assume one thing. "Oh, so I am dead then... God dangit, why couldn't I just go to heaven." He told himself before deciding that if he was dead, then he could leave. After all, how could someone stop a dead person? So, that was his plan, to finally leave the Maw once and for all. No one was going to stop him this time. He took his first step as a ghost... And fell down. He hit the floor but didn't feel any pain at all, though it was still strange to him. He tried again and the same thing happened. (This is gonna take a while.)
So, turns out the lady's dead. (Serves her right.) However, he should've expected this place not to go out of business just yet. Guests were still in the halls, the staff, (Which were just more guests serving themselves) still laid out food, and someone was leading this place. The question, who? (I bet it was that girl. Why wouldn't she run this place? It's perfect for a little nightmare like herself.) He thought bitterly as he continued floating towards the main exit. Non of the guests seemed bothered by his presence though, maybe they couldn't see him? He wasn't complaining, obviously, though it still felt too easy. But with a small phaze through the door, he was out... Only to feel like he was burning alive. He instinctively went back through the door, though he remained confused. He tried again, only for the same pain to hurt him....
Ok, turns out ghosts can't go into sunlight, Seven noted. It was that, or he just couldn't leave the Maw, which he really hoped that wasn't the case.
The Pale City. Seven always heard rumors about this place, but never got to see it himself. Well, now he is. He left the Maw at night and flew for a good while before coming across the city. The worn down buildings, old scrap laying everywhere, and the seemingly never ending night didn't exactly fill the ghost boy with comfort. But he was a ghost, so he should be fine. Floating around for a bit, nothing caught his eyes, unless you count the people here. The Pale Citizens were somewhat like the Maw's guests, but not fat, The opposite, actually. Each one of them seemed skinny to the bone, and most of them didn't seem to have any eyes. Seven would've been creeped out if it weren't for the fact that he's seen worse and he's also DEAD. The TVs were a bit strange though. He felt a small tug towards them, but something serious for him to fall for it's trap. So he continued onwards, not really being interested in anything. Until, that is, he sees someone. They look like a kid of sorts, a large bag over their head with big eye holes and a trench coat. Seven didn't take long to guess that the bag was to either hide his face or stop the TVs from doing whatever they did. (Could be both though.) Seven though, 'No harm done going over to him,' and proceeded to make his way over. Though he quickly turned and ran over to a sewer drain, with Seven on hot pursuit. The long pipes would've let this kid escape Seven's sight if not for that fact Seven could go straight through them. Finally, they ended up in a big room, clearly under construction with small boxes littered around the place along with other random junk. Though there was one more person there with the bag kid-
Seven's eyes widened in horror as he gazed upon his murderer. The girl in the yellow rain coat. She boar a smile as bag kid reached into a bag around his back and pulled out some pieces of bread. Seven was livid. (HOW DARE SHE TRICK THIS KID INTO HELPING HER! MAYBE HE'S JUST AS EVIL? BUT THEN WHY WOULD SHE-) "Oh, hey there." Seven froze up, glancing at the 2. Yellow coat girl was staring right at him.
"Huh? Six, who're you talking to- WOAH!" Bag kid suddenly fell onto the floor. 'Six just laughed slightly.
Seven would come to learn that this bag kid's name is Mono, and his murderer is called Six. He also learned that this wasn't the same Six that killed him, which just confused him even more than he already was. But soon enough, he came to like the pair, even though he still resented Six. However, more would come into their little group, and even more confusion would come for this runaway.
