eight: hashira training

a/n : hi i'm at 5% rn and it's 11:11 am, so i'm going to try and write a lot despite my ipad being on the brink of death. i also changed giyuu to like u as well so ignore the intro lauvs🤨‼️ 

you sat up, and saw the sun that was slowly rising. you looked around to see just about everyone sleeping except inosuke. "hey." you whispered.

he looked over to you, and he didn't have his boar mask on. he looked almost peaceful for a moment, maybe even smiling. "oi, why are you awake." he toughens up again. 

"you don't always have to be tough inosuke, it's okay." you try and ease the tense air.

"hmph." despite you being one of the most powerful pillars, he treats you normally. that's what you respect about him.

you get up silently and lightly walk over to him, he was sitting on a black metal stool and was hugging his knees to his chest, watching the sun rise. you pull out another stool and sit crisscross. "being a demon slayer is tiring, you should give yourself breaks, i saw you training last night until 3 am. if you keep doing that you won't get more powerful." you sigh, with a cup of tea in hand, lightly blowing on it.

"tch, easy for you to say. your a hashira! everyone respects you because you oh so powerful and strong." he lightly complains, still staring at the buildings.

you sigh again, "we all have our sob stories" you mutter, sipping the tea.

he grunted and you both just sat there, comfortably, watching the sun rise.

everyone woke up to the sight of you and inosuke bonding and talking, facing the window. 

they all just watched them in awe. you turned around to check if they were all awake yet, and they were. 

"oh, ohayo." you say blankly.

"i- okay, let's just go wash up and get to this shit training." sanemi yawns and occupies the men's restroom.

"says the one who hogs the guys bathroom for 30 minutes." giyuu scoffs.

before sanemi could retort back, shinobu shoved him into the bathroom and shut the door, smiling at giyuu which meant that if he keeps doing that he's gonna get beheaded. 

you, kaiko, kanao, and shinobu head to the ladies restroom, where you all take care of your hygiene and change. you sharpen your katana and put it back into its case, which was connected to your pocket. you filled up your small leather pouches with tubes of poison and poisonous arrows that came back to you after attacking. you also took the liberty to take your blue and violet moon shaped bow to hook onto your belt. 

your outfit was like shinobu, but your haori was a black to white fade with moon, wisteria, and dragons printed on it. it also had gems that could be transformed into arrows if pulled out. you tied your black boots that also hid retracting clear and purple moon blades.  

"i still can't get over how pretty your haori is y/n! the gems are a real eye-catcher." shinobu compliments while tying her belt.

"thank you shinobu, i love your hair pins and haori as well." you compliment back, smiling.

kaiko and kanao already got dressed a quickly left the bathroom.

you and the hashira were training in training grounds away from the others. you guys sorted out your own intense training that would last 1 hour (whole class period) and it was just battling each other. "shinobu and giyuu, fight!" sanemi yelled.

"ara ara~! what a pleasure to finally destroy you!" shinobu smiled at him, dodging all his moves.

"ugh." he taunts as he continuously tries to slice a hair, the rule being no breathing techniques.

after awhile of just hitting each other's swords against each other, giyuu leaped up and tackled her, shinobu on the ground in defeat. "oh well, i tried." she says, standing up and dusting off her haori. 

"next, giyuu and kaiko, fight!" 

they fight and kaiko ends up losing because she gave up, saying that she could never beat a hashira. 

after multiple fights, giyuu was replaced by sanemi, who now had to fight y/n. 

"sanemi and y/n, fight!" shinobu announced. 

"ha, your going down kid." he chuckles dashing towards you.

you deadpan, standing still as he charges towards you. class 1a was watching since they finished training early. 

a/n: i had to sit in the weirdest position to write this because my charger is short, and now my foot is numb 🙄🤚 sorry i'm really lazy right now like i'm not feeling it and also i just painted my nails black and it's 12 am and i have school tomorrow and feeling like a baddie 😺🛐🛐🥶🎤🙀😦 my bdays feb 18 so lowkey scared 😘😘😘😘 GOODNIGHT BABIES!
