*Time Skip* Buck's POV I have been working with Meredith and Derek for a few months in the pediatrics department, plus one of those cute firefighters that brought me in and I have been seeing each other for a while and I have to admit that I am actually pretty happy. I was walking while texting Travis asking him if we were still going to Le Pichet when I bumped into a dark haired man wearing scrubs

"Sorry." I said as we made eye contact. "Totally my fault, Mark Salon head of plastics nice to meet you." He said introducing himself with a charming smile. "Nice to meet you Mark, I'm Evan Buckley new pediatrics nurse." I said. "Well it's nice to meet you Evan, if you don't mind me asking where are you from?" He asked. "Originally Hershey Pennsylvania but for the past couple of years I've lived in Los Angeles and everybody calls me Buck." I said. "Wow if you don't mind me asking why did you move from LA to Seattle?" Mark asked. "I was a firefighter and I was injured on the job when a bomb was planted under the truck and when it blew up it fell on top of me crushing my leg and I was unable to be a firefighter after that so I decided to start fresh plus I needed a new job and I happen to have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing(BSN) and I love working with kids so long story short I wound up here." I said. "Wow from firefighter to scrub wearer that's quite a change." Mark said. "Ya but it was a change that needed to be made." I said. I don't know what it was about Mark Salon but I felt like I could talk to him about anything. I was lost in thought when my pager went off and my patient was asking for me so I excused myself and ran to the pediatric Ward. *Time skip* It was the end of my shift and I was getting ready to head to Meredith and Derek's place so I could get changed for my date with Travis when I bumped into Mark again. "We have got to quit meeting like this." I said jokingly. "So Buck do you have any plans for to night?" He asked. "Ya dinner with this guy I've been seeing." I said. "Sounds like fun." He said. Just then Travis pulled up and walked up to me and gave me a kiss. "First off wow that was quite a kiss but I thought we were meeting at the restaurant." I said. "I'm going to go give you guys some space." Mark said clearly uncomfortable. "We were going to but after today I needed to see you." He said. After that I told Travis to forget the reservations and we went back to his place to spend some time together.
