TaaRey SS - Breathless(Completed)

Chapter 1:

The sun above in d clear blue sky glistened orange-yellow. The airy atmosphere was effervescent. It was d perfect time to take a flight. By d thought, my skin itched to transform. My body ignited d pull. First, I unclothed. D cool early morning air tickled my skin. Next, I was letting d changes into my true self. A Draki!

My soft pale skin broke into hard orange. Muscles of my face and body cracked protruding sharp scales. In d spot of my shoulder blades, bones constricted swerving amber-colored wings. My limbs replaced by needle-like tail. Sharp pointy structures decorated on it. I was completely manifested. And, d next thing I knew, I was flying.

My wings stretched high above in d sky. I dived crisscrossing my directions in a playful mood. A blast of gust hit me in d face. My orange-red irises danced like flames as my sight narrowed. A weight of pleasure dipped my pinkish blood pumping higher and higher. I breathed. For real! My elongated wings pushed up consuming d ambush of flight, crossing a dangerous line of Pride.

See, we Draki's always leave in Pride, away from d reckless humans. Since d ancient times, there were many folktales and myths about Dragon existence. Perhaps, it isn't fallible. Dragons existed. And we are d last descents of d family. Usually, people deceive our non-existence. And, that is to be maintained as it is. It is one of d main rule of Pride. Exposing us to d human world means, death of ours. Yes, u heard it right. Though humans aren't d main culprits here, there are a group of hunters called Eroses. They are d most feared enemy of Drakis. They hunt us for our skin and vengeance of ridding us from d earth. Henceforth, it is forbidden to flight except for d registered time during night times. And, I have importantly broken that rule, today.

My lungs roared in pure ecstasy as if I had gulped cider. A low growl escaped in d back of my throat. A puff of fire erupted from my mouth, immixing d air like rubber balls. Oh......I'm a Fire-Breather. There are usually other types of Draki's such as Water Draki, Onyx Draki, Vernanda Draki, Earth Draki..... And most of all, Fire-Breather is d rare and vital type of Draki. And, honestly, there were only two of Fire-Breather's existed in our Pride. One is me and d other is.......well.........

My eye caught a movement in d air little far away from me. Instantly, I ducked lower, flying vigorously in fast-paced. I neatly landed on d roof of our house. I let to De-manifest. In seconds, I was in my human form, naked. I quickly flipped on my clothes: a tank-top and sweats, onto my body. My inch past shoulder length auburn hairs spread down. I turned down to leave. But, I stopped, when I heard my father landing on d roof foot distance away from me.

He is d head of d Pride in here Finland. And, he expected me to obey d orders alike all others. But honestly, I wasn't d one to sit in home unlike other girls when d guys of pride did everything. You may now know how male-pride d community here is.

My father's skin was reptile-grey and his large luscious wings were verdant green. His beautiful purple eyes bored into mine in disappointment. "hssshmmmmm....." He hissed. I don't need a Draki form to understand. It is a language of my existence I could understand even if I'm in human form. "Taani....." Again he hissed. Before he could slash me verbally for breaking d rules and endangering our Pride, I apologized "I know, I'm sorry.....Ok.....I...I...just wanted to fly.....And, I wouldn't repeat it next time" I grimaced. "That's not a problem....." He softened. Did he just tell me my flying was ok? I gazed him with utter disbelief. "You....don't have a problem with that?" My eyes widened. He chuckled....It was like a hoarse scowl when he did it in Draki form. "Everything is going to change....Taani" He ogled me in affection. I waited for more explanation. "Rey is back..." He scrutinized my reaction "And, he claimed u". I think my little heart stopped in d socket.
