Chapter 4:

It was early in the morning. We sat in oceanfront beach hotel for breakfast. Me and Rey parked the car nearby the forest of our PRIDE and flew here. No one noticed us as we entered back from the abandoned forest beside the ocean. "The view is so beautiful" I watched serenely at the dawn waves flowing breezily wetting our legs. Hotel was sedated across an ocean. Seating arrangements were placed outside in an open area. "I thought you will like it, here" Rey held my hand leering peacefully. "You know... I use to visit here... when I was away from PRIDE..." He caught my eye. I didn't avert my gaze. "There wasn't a moment I didn't think about you, Taani" He whispered taking my palms to his mouth. "I missed you. I really missed you" He slightly kissed my hands intertwining between his. "If it's so, then why didn't you come back to me, Rey?" I squeezed his hand. He looked at me without answering. Food was served breaking our moment. Rey shrugged serving hot soup and bread toast to me. He didn't answer. Sighing, I picked up the food and chewed. It was delicious. We had our breakfast in silence enjoying the slight cold. Rey pointed to my mouth enacting something struck to my mouth. I rubbed. Probably, it didn't go. Rey stood leaning closer. His mouth opened on my lips licking the seated food particle. I shivered. It wasn't nothing to do with the cold. And everything to do with Rey's mouth on mine. Yesterday's events rushed back and our gazes locked. There were people in the surroundings. That was the only thing stopped us from stripping naked and doing things which only done behind closed doors. I blushed and diverted my gaze. Someone was watching us. I shrugged thinking I was going insane having Rey beside.

I have never freely roamed a mall anywhere in my entire life. But Rey had brought me to 'The Mall At Millenia' upon my wish. I wasn't a freak for shopping things. I just wanted to know how beautiful it would be to have a normal life like humans. "You want to buy something?" Rey pulled me into a women's cloth section. "No. I want to eat..." I pouted pulling him away from the store. He chuckled and held me as we walked into a pizza hut.

After half an hour of walk in the mall, he pulled free saying he would be back within minutes. While he gone, I stood placing a hand on the railing. I watched some people occupying the stalls and few others roaming lazily munching something to eat.

Suddenly my inside DRAKI was getting aware of someone's watch. If at all there were any EROSES here, I couldn't differentiate. Because they were similar to humans. Only the difference is they were trained to hunt us. DRAKIS.

A hand landed on my shoulder and I cried out a breath. "Oh... its me Taani. What happened?" He frowned looking all over. "Nothing" I hugged my shoulders. "We have to leave" Rey held my hand and watched the locality. "Why?" I looked confused. "Someone is watching us" He smiled assuring a gentle squeeze. I felt relieved knowing that I wasn't going insane and even Rey felt that.

Since, we hadn't brought any car, we should be fleeing. Hence, we took a taxi to the Oceanfront beach hotel. "Rey, is it ok to fly now?" I asked hoping we didn't put up a fight with any EROSES. "I guess. But we should wait until dawn to enter the abandoned forest" He looked into his watch. It was 4 past 5. We had one hour to get into the forest.

The dusk has finally raised and we let ourselves to manifest into our true forms. I & Rey raced high in the sky inhaling the fresh air. It was surreal to watch him in his true form. The dragon tattoo was engraved on his reptile skin too. His wings were scarlet and glittered. In place of his broad shoulders, bones constricted and pointy edges protruded. His reptile skin was sharp and horny tailing throughout his tail. We roared searing higher in the clouds. I soared faster while he caught up to me zooming around. As we reached the forest near our PRIDE, we landed smoothly on the ground and changed. As if I had never let myself naked in front of Rey though he had seen me half naked, I hurried towards a tree barricading my sight to him. I changed into my clothes. So did he. "You didn't give me a chance to get sight of those pretty ass of yours" He put his hands on my bum and steered towards him. I held onto his shirt. Then, he kissed me. Giving a long sweet kiss which included only our lips.

I sat on the edge of my bed relieving all the moments with Rey when there was a knock on the door. I wondered who would be at such late night. It was 11.45 pm. I opened the door. I was surprised to found Rey. "What are you doing here?" I fidgeted. "I thought you would be happy seeing me..." He pouted. "Don't act Rey. We just left each other before 3 hrs" I hardly resisted a smile. "Let me in, baby" He pushed me inside, inviting himself in the room and locked the door. "Someone would see us Rey" I was alert knowing that my father was home tonight. "I have something for you" He pulled me on to the bed and sat. He opened a small box from his pocket and presented to me. It was neatly wrapped in a gift paper and ribbons were tied. "What is it?" I asked. "Open" he smirked. I carefully removed the wrapper. There was a small metal box. I opened. A beautiful neck chain with a rose pendant sedated in the middle of box. "I haven't given you any gifts. Thought you would like it" He smiled. "This is so beautiful" Tears splashed across my cheek as the effort and gesture he put for me. "Shall I" He asked pointing towards the neck chain. I gave it to him. He unclasped the hook and placed around my neck clasping it again. His hands lingered on my neck gulping harshly. "Perfect" He said removing his hands. I took the moment to climb on to his lap and kissed him on the mouth "Thank you". "If you are going to kiss me for every present, probably I would never stop bringing something along" He put a flock of hair behind my ear as his both hands then pulled my waist closer to him. "Really" I caressed his cheek. His breathe ascended. "I want to tell you, Taani" He sighed. "I left PRIDE because..." He started. "Its ok. I don't need any explanation now, Rey" I said. "No. You deserve to know why I left. I went to hunt EROSES in the north who had killed our entire community. Because of whom I lost my parents" His cheeks strained. I felt sad. I couldn't imagine having that kind of vengeance to kill somebody. "Hey...its ok...." I cupped his face. "It's not ok, Taani. I left without reasoning it you. Especially, when you loved me." I felt a pang at his opinion. I couldn't imagine if he accepted me only because I loved him and not vice versa. "But the moment demanded and I couldn't let you know. I don't know whether I would be alive in the process or not. I didn't want you to wait for me if I didn't make it alive" His thumb grazed my lip. "But how I wished, you didn't choose anyone and waited for me. I was selfish, you know" He laughed sullenly. "I'm here right in front of you, Rey. I waited for you." I looked into his eyes. "You know why was I selfish?" He asked me. "Because I LOVE YOU Taani... And would never stop loving you." He just that those three words. It wasn't necessary but him voicing them out was everything I wanted for so long. "That's the reason, with my return I just requested your father to let me bond to you. Your father rejected me for breaking your heart but I begged him to give me a chance" He smiled. No words I said could pacify him. I just did something to prove it. I kissed him. I bit his lips putting my hands across his neck. He opened his mouth allowing my tongue slide in. The moment our tongues intertwined, he slid his hands inside my shirt and stroked the bare skin. I clenched harder on his lap. I broke the kiss for a silly second only to remove his shirt. He followed the same. My hands went to his belt. I removed his pants as he did mine. I pushed him on the bed climbing upon him. He groaned placing my waist little lower to his. My mouth fondled on his chest kissing all over his nude skin. He cupped my breast arching my back in pure bliss. His mouth traded the territory of my cleavage as I slid my hand to his lower part. He moaned as my fingers crossed across his sensitive area. "Oh baby..." He pinched my skin harder kissing the red skin harshly. I crafted my fingers up and down pulling out the pleasure to build inside him. "Taani... Oh...Taani" He cried pressing his hands hard on my waist and his mouth on my nipples. I didn't stop until his insides rushed. "Now...Taani...I need more...baby" He whispered as he kissed my belly. "Now, I'm going to make you come for me" Suddenly, he pushed me on the bed. My back arched as he lifted my hands up shackling them. His mouth didn't take a break. I screamed in joy capturing his mouth. He rested his naked body on mine without letting each other move away. After a brief second, he spoke "I LOVE YOU, Taani". He kissed my forehead and snuggled me into his arms as we drifted to a peaceful sleep.
