Cybertron: An Optimus Prime Love Story

A New Prime

[5 months later]

[Planet Cybertron]

[Location: Iacon City HQ: Optimus Prime's quarter]

Alpha Trion's POV

It is almost the end of the War. The Autobots are on the verge of defeat. Megatron and his forces have grown desparate and far more stronger than we ever imagined. Both the factions have come up with a desparate plan. The Decepticons with a plan to destroy Cybertron forever and we Autobots are to leave our home to escape from starvation. Megatron has poisoned the planet's core with Dark Energon; in order to eternally empower their forces, while the Autobots starve to death. In order to escape from this mass extinction, Optimus Prime and myself will execute an Exodus, where most of the remaining Autobots will escape Cybertron forever in The Ark, the largest Spaceship ever created in Cybertronian history.

Alpha Trion: "Optimus, the time is near."

Luna: "For what?"

Alpha Trion: "To put our plan in motion."

Optimus Prime: "I am prepared Alpha Trion."

Luna: "But what's the plan?"

Alpha Trion: "It is time for a new Prime, to lead us in our waning days."

Luna: "But.... Optimus is alive and standing in front of me!"

Optimus Prime: "My time on Cybertron has come to an end my love."

Luna: "I don't get anything...please clear my doubts."

Alpha Trion: "We Autobots are executing an Exodus, to escape the mass extinction by Decepticons. Optimus Prime will lead most of the Autobots out of Cybertron."

Luna: "Optimus no...."

Optimus Prime: "I have no choice Luna, the Matrix has spoken, my quest must be accomplished. And there will be a new Prime, to lead what is left of us, here on Cybertron."

Luna: "Who's gonna be the next Prime?"

Optimus Prime: "As the circumstances appears, the Matrix has chosen you to be worthy of wielding it."

Luna: "What....but I'm not even capable of leading."

Alpha Trion: "You will learn to become a capable leader, as Optimus did, when he was a novice."

Optimus Prime: "Alpha Trion will guide you."

Luna: "But Optimus...I can't live without you."

Optimus Prime: "Neither can I...."

Luna's POV

I was simply speechless after hearing that I was going to be the new Prime. OMG!! I never thought I'd be a Prime?!

Ratchet: "Optimus we have a situation."

Optimus Prime: "What is it Ratchet?"

Ratchet: "The Decepticons have attacked the launching station of The Ark."

Alpha Trion: "We must hurry and stop them."

Luna: "Optimus I'll miss you."

Optimus Prime: "I'm not leaving yet. Autobots all hands to combat!!"

Alpha Trion: "The Matrix will share itself with both of you, and you two will be bonded together for the rest of your lives."

Optimus Prime: "Autobots engage yourselves with the enemy. I'll need some time."

Ironhide: "Copy that Prime!"

Ultra Magnus: "Autobots attack!"

Alpha Trion: "We must begin with the fusion now."

Optimus Prime's POV

My chest plates slid back, revealing the original Matrix inside my spark as it started to glow.

Luna's POV

My spark was racing as I've never done it, in fact it was the first time in my life. I could feel my chest plates shift as well, revealing my spark as a beam of blue light started to enter my spark from Optimus' Matrix. I felt a strong energy fill my body, modifying a few parts, growing antennas over the audio receptors and I was a bit taller than I was before. Both of our chest plates closed as I ran to Optimus and kissed him deeply after the fusion was completed.

Optimus Prime's POV

I kissed her as passionately as she did, embracing her tightly and rubbed her back assuring that she would succeed.

Alpha Trion: "All Autobots, we have among us, the new Prime who will lead us here on Cybertron. With great honour I present before you, Luna Prime, the bondmate of Optimus Prime and our new leader."

Jazz: "Congratulations!"

Arcee: "Never thought she'd be worthy!"

Ironhide: "Let's kick some tailpipes Luna Prime!"

[Darkmount Kaon, Trypticon Station]

Megatron: "Decepticons! Activate the Warp Cannons and destroy The Ark!!"

[Trypticon's Warp Cannons started to jolt online, aiming towards the gigantic Ark, as Shockwave activated the target sequence.]

Shockwave: "Commencing Fire in 3...2...1..."

[The Warp Cannons started firing upon The Ark, but got blocked by the shields surrounding the ship.]

Megatron: "Keep under constant fire!!"

[Back to Iacon]

Perceptor: "The Decepticons are firing the Warp Cannons on The Ark!"

Luna: "Don't you think we should use one of our Titans?"

Optimus Prime: "Sound advice beloved."

Ironhide: "She's right. Bring in the Titans!"

Optimus Prime: "Metroplex, my friend, you must destroy the Warp Cannons, like you did once before."

Metroplex: "As you wish Optimus Prime."

Luna Prime: "This time I'm going with Metroplex!"

[5 hours later]

[Four Warp Cannons destroyed, only one remains.]

Luna Prime: "let's go get it!"

[In moments it was gone too.]

Cliffjumper: "Hell yeah!!"

Alpha Trion: "She's doing good as a novice."

Optimus Prime: "It appears that our crisis has been averted."

Ratchet: "The Ark is fully operational, just needs to be fueled up."
