"Sir, I have the reports ready."
It was women, blue hair just brushing against her shoulders, and cold grey eyes to match her the eerie stillness that was held in her body. The man she spoke to rapped his knuckles against his desk, an emblem of a curling dragon decorating its wooden side, and along the edges were dark seals painted into its surface.
"Well done, Hawk," he praised, her head was respectfully bowed his way, "You have gone over the candidates then?"
"Yes, sir," her tone was nonchalant, bordering on cold, the edges of her lenses lined in silver.
"Then the Academy has been going well?" he questioned.
"More than well, sir," she responded, "The united shinobi nations have taken well to a united Academy front, the teachers we provide are more than qualified, and the Kages are more than happy to receive highly educated and competent shinobi."
"I see," he contemplated, "The candidates we have compiled enter the Academy 00612, and we can freely profit from their applications as agents. Well done. If it is you, Hawk, then expect the reports only to include the best of possible candidacies. I am to be let know of any changes?"
A pause. "One, sir."
"And?" he prodded.
"A new candidate has appeared in the Konoha 00612, a child too young to be up for the Academy," she spoke clearly.
"Then assemble a scout to pick the child when it comes of age, do not tell me you have grown indecisive Hawk?" there was a hint of danger in his words.
"Not all, my Lord, it is not the scouting that is problematic," she paused once more, "The child is a noble Uchiha."
His eyes widened, and his gaze flew to the women before him. "Impossible, the System does not allow Uchiha as candidates, their existences are always repeated through dimension per their dojutsu."
"Yes," she nodded, her eyes flinging to her surroundings, "Normally the Sharingan is a repeated existence, but there is no doubt the child is a Candidate. It seems we have an exception to such a law of nature, sir."
"Yes," a dark smile was whipping onto the corner of his lips, "I suppose there can be an exception."
"Sir?' she inquired upon seeing the calculated look on his features.
"This is an opportunity, Hawk. Never have we had a singular Sharingan existence, it's on the basis of the impossible. Have we not learned from the ages we have lived? Shinobi predecessors tell us that some of the most capable shinobi in history were masters of the Sharingan. If we nurture this child on the right path, we might just create one of the most powerful dimensional existences in history," every word brought him closer to a brightening realization.
"Sir," Hawk paused, her eyes flitted back and forth, hands grasping onto her knees as she bowed, "Excuse my behavior, but have the Uchiha not been known to be...unpredictable? Would bringing this child not serve as a risk to the organization?"
His eyes turned stone cold, "My dear child, it seems your assignments have taught you nothing. You know not yet how to play the game of God."
"God?" Hawk inquired.
He smiled darkly, "Yes, God. A world where a man can be God. We are the bridge between galaxies, and this tiny existence of 00612 is just but an ant to the larger realm. Create a world where this child deems real, and we attach strings and play board. Have you not heard the saying that the best cages are the ones we realize we're never there?"
"Controlling the movements of the child, by staging a world on strings," her eyes were dark with contemplations, "I see, My Lord."
"Yes," he laughed, eyes swimming with triumph, "I assign you this task to you Hawk, you must ensure the success of this child's admittance into 00612 Academy. There we will prod the Sharingan until it releases its highest form. Acquire our knowledge of the dojutsu while you are at it, Hawk, and also call Bear for me."
Hawk's eyebrows scrunched, "Bear? Do you plan to create a dependency?"
"Ah," he laughed once more, "I plan to acquire a teacher, Bear will serve as an asset if I plan to create a number one agent."
Hawk's eyes furrowed, but she did not move to inquire any further, instead, turning to the door, and padding on silent footsteps.
"Wait," he called before she reached the door. Hawk turned.
"The child's name and existence, what is it?"
"Karasu Uchiha, sir," her eyes shone silver, "00612 Konoha, second child to Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno."
