I was done with that guy. Brandon. What a stupid name. I swear to Joe Iconis that guy needs a SQUIP more than Jeremy did. We couldn't even call the cops because what would they do against a weeb with the strength of a train? And they probably wouldn't believe us anyways. To be fair, I only believed the story because at this point, anything can make sense. Supercomputers being forced to be human? Yeah. Some crazy ritual for power? Sure why not.
We started walking to school. "Can't we make them the military's problem?" Jason asked. "What are they going to do? Arrest the strongest man alive?" Molly asked. He groaned. "Lets pretend this isn't a problem and focus on getting popular again." Aaron decided. We agreed.
The day went a bit better now that we had a plan. Luckily not much had happened, and we didn't run into Brandon or the girl, which was a little suspicious but we brushed it off. Jeremy, Michael and Rich still seemed to be trying to finish adjusting to the situation before talking to us again. Soon, the day ended and we had to go buy some clothes as per Aarons request.
We split off into two groups. Me, Scott and Jason at one end of the mall and Molly, Aaron and Stewart at the other. We'd switch when we finished.
I held up a black shirt with a white collar, debating. Scott appeared at my right with a pink and blue shirt. "No. Not so much pink, Scott." I stared at him. He shrugged and disappeared again. "Would I look good in yellow?" Jason called to me. "No, none of us would." I said. They decided I was the only one of us with a sense of fashion, and to be fair, I probably was.
Soon enough we each had some new shirts. I stared at the black tee with pink sleeves I had gotten. "Why do I get the feeling I'm going to get blood on this one." Nobody answered. We met up with the others outside at the car. We exchanged opinions before throwing the bags into the back seat.
Eventually I found myself comparing two jackets. "Get the first one." Scott said as he studied a black vest. "Yeah, you're right." I decided. Jason crashed into the table as I was putting the other jacket down. "Uh?" I asked. "I tripped. Anyway, try this on." He handed me a coat.
It was black with blue strips along the edges, it had a fairly high collar and had a dark blue shiny thread sewn into all of the black. I took off the jacket I had one and tried the coat. It was smooth yet soft. I looked at myself in one of the mirrors. "If I change my hair a bit, I could definitely use this." I muttered to myself. "So?" Jason asked. "Yeah I'm buying it." I decided.
And after a bit longer, we were finished. We exchanged opinions at the car again. Some of us passed a few items to another.
Aaron had managed to find an entire outfit for Jason. It was a white and silver version of his usual coat, and the silver would change to blue in the light. He found some pretty nice pants and a good shirt to match. The white boots he usually wore, once cleaned from yesterday would look pretty good with it. Aaron had also somehow found white tinted sunglasses. Still blocked out the sun though. Jason looked amazing in the coat and sunglasses.
Molly handed me a fairly heavy bag. A dark, grey-ish blue suit/trench coat combination. An extremely light blue shirt, black pants and a new pair of black boots. A dark blue vest and darker tie to match. She'd also found an alternate coat for it. Same style, but less grey, darker and the sleeves were.. interesting, to put it short. The sleeves dropped off to reveal the arm or shirt at around the elbows, and there were metal strips hanging off the the bottom of the sleeves. I appreciated it.
Once we had gotten home, we started properly trying the clothing we got, and if you were me and Scott, experimenting with our hair. At some point, Molly had gotten bored and started trying things with Jasons hair while Aaron watched and gave tips. We also had gotten a large bag of hair dye and makeup.
