Chapter 5

Me and Fiona got up from our table and she left the money on the table. We walked towards the door and thanked the waitress before heading outside. It was a nice day the skye was blue and the sun was shining we couldn't ask for anything better to enjoy our day. She walked along the street with me "what do you want to do first ?" She smiled at me. I raised my eyebrow "do you think mabye we can go to the beach ?". She nods "of course we can". We walked down to the beach in a comfortable silence as I took in my surroundings. We reached the beach and i slipped off my shoes to let my feet feel the sand. The last time I had been to the beach was with my mum I hadn't seen her since her finding out I was a witch. Just thinking about these thoughts brought a tear to my eye I didn't want to let them out but they slipped down my cheek. Fiona looked at me "y/n...you ok ?". I looked down I didn't want to break in front of Fiona but I was struggling to hold myself together here. I shake my head and with that she instantly pulls me into her arms wrapping them around me as I burry my head in the crook of her neck. She strokes through my hair "you wanna talk about it ?". I nod and look up at her. She takes my hand "come on let's go back to the room that way it will be more quiet". I nod starting to walk with her not letting go of her hand due to the fact that it was making me feel safe. We walked for what felt like ages but was only five minutes with me having to hold onto Fiona tightly due to the shaking of my legs. I had been hiding how I was feeling deep down for so long and for what so I can snap at any given time. We finally got back to the hotel and I stumbled into the hotel room as my legs gave in beneath me and tears just started to flood out with no self control. Fiona caught me and walked me over to the bed placing me down "what's going on y/n". I stuttered before I could get my words out "the last time I went to the beach was with my parents they loved me so much before finding out I was a witch then the dumped me at the academy and I haven't seen them since and being at the beach just unlocked a lot of memories" I sobbed. She pulled me Into her arms right away "oh y/n I'm so sorry sweetheart it's ok I'm here". She rocked me back and forth until I fell asleep in her arms feeling safe.
