The one constant within Ash's life was running from people who would abuse her power. Even though she was never very successful in that department - she managed to run into those people, but she did get around to foil their plans.
There was only so far she could run, and after being battered from every corner of the ring, Ash had lost the will to fight.
And that's when he pounced.
Ash needed to break Thanos' hold on her, or the half of all life would suffer.
The fate of the universe rested on her shoulders even if it had never given a shit about her.
Disclaimer:
This book contains vivid descriptions of gore, death, torture, suicidal thoughts, implications of suicide attempts, mental health hospitals, depression, parental abuse and mistreatment, and injury with language.
This is not a character specific fanfiction and is strictly platonic. Ash will not engage romantically with any of the characters involved within the Marvel franchise.
I also am obliged to say that I do not own the MCU or any of the characters. This, I assume you already gathered as if I did, this would not be fanfiction but, in fact, actually real. I do, however, take claim to Ash, Noah and any other characters that do not feature in the MCU. I also do not own the music featured or the songs/quotes used. The songs are credited at the end of each chapter with a link to the YouTube audio.
