"Is that what happened?" The detective said as she interviewed me. I just nodded, the three I rescued was resting in a spare room. I told him as much as I knew after a paramedic came to check on them. "They'll stay here for the time being. Once they wake up, they'll have to come with us for questioning. If you don't mind, I'll wait here."

"Sorry I can't provide any more information." She shook her head with a smile as I went to get a soda. It would help me clear my mind and calm myself.

"Don't worry about it. You told me as much as you knew." I got two and handed one over to the detective. "Thanks."

"They should be waking up soon. They were fine, maybe passed out from shock or lack of oxygen, but, as I suspected, people here are built sturdier than on Earth." The soda tasted like Coke and I mean the good Coke that's made in Mexico. It was a lot better than the ones made in the US. "Do they have any family nearby they can stay with?"

"From what we could find, yes. The mother's brother lives close to her, along with her sister. They have already been notified, but they will still have to go to the hospital in case there are any long-term effects. We can't tell now, but they were okayed by the paramedics for temporary recovery; however, as I said, they will have to be moved." I nodded.

"Did I come down at a bad time?" I looked over to the voice and found the mother standing near the stairs.

"Oh no. It wasn't anything important. Are the other two up?" The deceptive nodded before the mother nodded, her face was sad. I guess she remembers what happened. "Okay, you will have to be moved to the hospital for the time being until we're sure that there isn't anything wrong. If you don't mind me asking a few questions in between and after the test."

"I don't mind." She went upstairs and came down with the other two. "Thank you young man for saving us." It took me a minute to realize that Alice's sister was wearing a few of my clothes, but I didn't mind. I mean... she doesn't really have much of a choice in the matter.

"No problem, I was worried when I didn't hear from Alice and went over to check. I'm glad I did." All but Alice left while I was picking up the mess I made on the coffee table.

"Thanks again... I owe you one," Alice said as she looked everywhere but at me.

"Again, no problem. I'm just glad I got there in time." I gave her a kind smile which I'm not sure she saw since she was looking anywhere but me, but it's still better than not doing anything.

"Okay, then see you later." She did the last thing I expected. She just kissed me on the cheek which doesn't fit her. Since when was she the type to do something like that.

"Who are you and what did you do with Alice." I got slapped through my floor.

"That's the last time I do something like this for you." I don't know if it was worth it or not... no it wasn't.
