"Bye, I'll see you guys Wednesday!" You called out, pulling your mittens on. Usually, you wouldn't waste your time since your car would be right outside the door. But it was different tonight, it was a Friday and your high school was having its last football game of the season. It was far over by now, but for a celebration for winning the game they came to the local restaurant, (insert random name). You were lucky to get off at ten, so you weren't stuck with your classmates and underclass men until close.
You were almost at the front door when you felt your sleeve being pulled, making you turn around quickly. "Oh, hey." You said in a cool tone.
"Hey, why don't you stay for a bit? I'll give you a ride home." Monoma winked, he let go of your sleeve and proceeded to wrap his arm around your waste.
"I actually have my own car now, and I need to finish my chemistry homework," you replied, your hand peeling his fingers off of you one by one.
"You know I won the game tonight to make sure I seen you," his tone was a bit sad, "the least you could do is spend a few minutes." You sighed, now starting to get annoyed. Monoma has tried to get with you ever since freshman year, you had feelings him, but as time passed neither of you were actually ready to commit to a relationship. And tonight, you didn't feel like going to the after party that always took place at his house. You were tired, and him begging you to stay at your job longer only made you resent him more at this point.
"I'll make it up to you Sunday, how about that?" You asked, you already knew what his answer was going to be.
"But you know I have to be at my moms fashion show on Su-"
"Well, text me if things change. Have a good night Monoma! Congrats on your win!" You smiled at him, patting his cheek lightly before dipping out of the building. You held your keys in your hand, walking to the side of the building where your car was. Sadly, you worked at their main building, which was the biggest. There were multiple rows for parking and of course you were at the way back. You just had to wait a little longer before you could press the start button to your car, and the heater will be all yours.
Your head was held low as you approached your car, if you remembered correctly, it was about to snow soon. The last thing you wanted to do was drive in it, everyone acts like they don't know how to drive once it does. Your hand was about to reach for the car handle when you heard something.
You turned your head towards the woods behind you, squinting when you thought you seen a bright light coming from it. A faint scream was heard.
"Oh hell no," you muttered, getting inside your car and locking the doors. You quickly buckled up, using your free hand to scroll through your playlist. You clicked (insert song), before putting the car in reverse.
