Hello! I'm back from the dead :)
"S..Shoto, where are we? Why are we here?" You looked up at him, it felt like your mind was filled with tv static, you looked around trying to remember why you were there, but the more you looked around the heavier the feeling you got in your chest. "Can you take me home, please?" You whispered, leaning on his chest.
It was weird, he was cold on his left side, cold to the touch and left goosebumps all over you. But the more you leaned on him, the closer to his right side you felt unbelievable warm. The sensation gave you goosebumps all over again. You didn't even notice Shoto was stiff as a board, looking down at you, then at Bakugou. He didn't know what to do, he was never given any type of affection growing up, nor did he now. He let out a shaky breath when Bakugou rolled his eyes, turning away from him. Shoto wrapped his arm around you, his hand rubbing up and down your arm as the car started to drive.
Shoto was looking down at you the whole time, it made him frown that you were sniffling and that your cheeks were puffy from the tears. He didn't like that you fell asleep upset, and he hated that he had to erase your memory. He still couldn't tell which was worse, erasing every memory you had of Monoma, or letting you have the memories, from the good ones until his very last breath. Your head slowly starting slipping, which Shoto helped you of course, laying your head down on his lap. The moonlight shined bright in your face, giving your skin light glow to it.
He could feel his breathing hitch in his throat, he felt his face start to burn a bright red. He looked up, noticing that they were already close to your house. All they had to do was go down the driveway. He let out a thankful sigh, becoming very overwhelmed with the unknown feelings that were swirling in his stomach and his thoughts.
The suv slowed down to a stop. Shoto looked at Y/N, then at everyone else who was avoiding his eyes. He glared at Bakugou, who had his leg up on the dash, a pocket knife in his hand that he was doing tricks with. "Bastard," Shoto whispered, earning a tsk from Bakugou.
"I told you to erase all her damn memories, not my fault you didn't listen."
Shoto managed to get out of the suv, holding you bridal style. He had no clue how he was going to get inside, let alone get you inside without any help of keeping your family asleep. He huffed, deciding to try and see if your window was open.
He faced his left hand down, sending himself up with a thick sheet of ice. He looked at the window to see that it was, in fact unlocked. He glared down at y/n, not knowing why she would leave it open knowing what was outside. He somehow managed to open the window, using his ice to help him climb through. He shook his head, walking over to your full size bed and laying you down. He grabbed the throw blanket and covered you, his eyes admiring you before he walked back towards the window.
"Shoto.. can you stay please?" He heard you mutter behind him. Shoto felt his face burn red again, he turned to see you looking at him with tear filled eyes again, fist bawled around your blanket tightly. "I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm hurting so bad right now and I don't know why." You tried your best not to cry, but the feeling in your chest became heavier and heavier, your voice cracking once you made eye contact with him. The tears started to slip down your cheeks as you seen him continue towards the window.
You turned over, facing away from him as you silently cried, using your blanket to cover your face. You heard your window shut, your eyes opened when you heard the window lock. You didn't turn around as you heard Shoto walk over, quietly taking his shoes off. You felt your bed sink in, your heart beating harshly against your chest as you felt his arm wrap around you, his body lightly pressing up to yours. His breath fanned on the neck of your neck.
"I'm sorry." Shoto whispered, his arm pulling you closer towards him.
"For what?" You replied, but after a few moments of no answer, you heard a soft snore behind you. You turned over slowly, not wanting to disturb his sleep. You tried to stop your sniffles, tried to stop yourself from crying but it was just so hard to, and you couldn't even explain why. You buried your face into Shoto's chest, the chilling feeling of hot and cold helping you fall asleep quickly.
When you woke up, it wasn't because of the bright sun light in your face. It was because you were being squeezed so tightly, shaky breaths being taken in and out. You opened your eyes, tilting your head up a bit to see Shoto was still with you. You managed to wiggle your arms from in front of you to around him, your fingers tracing circles on his back in hopes to calm him down.
You scooted back a bit, looking at him. He had sweat covering his face, which was scrunched up. "N-no," he muttered in his sleep. His arms were still around you, his arms crossed over one another, securing his hands on your hips and holding them tightly. You were yet against pressed to his chest, tightly. You still tried your best to rub soothing circles on his back.
He calmed down after a few minutes, giving you a chance to scoot back to look at him again. You let out a sad sigh, seeing his bands were now sticking to his forehead, but he seemed to stop having the nightmare. Your fingers light moved his hair out of his face, freezing once his hand wrapped around yours.
His two toned eyes opened, they looked over your face slowly, absorbing all of your features. He let go of your hand, putting his hand on the back of your head and pulling you into his chest once more.
"Can we just lay here a little longer?" He whispered, "I like the feeling I get laying with you."
You could feel your face start to burn, but you nodded ever so lightly,
"I like the feeling too."
