I froze.
Oh God.
It's the hum.
I look at him. No. This can't be. I knew I wasn't just hallucinating back then. Oh my God. How is this possible?

My tears fell.
He's still looking at the keyboard, no idea of my reaction. I leaned on his shoulder and closed my eyes. He stopped,
"Are you okay?"
"Hmm." I answered, "Just- just continue."
My heart is aching. All the pain came back. The memories are playing again in my head.
Ember.
I can still hear his voice. The way he likes calling my name.
I left him. Alone in that world. I held my aching heart.
"Are you sleeping?" I didn't respond. I don't know what to respond. I just want us to be like this.
"Ember." He called my name. How come they are two different people?
He slightly moved and the next thing I knew, he embraced me. I have never felt so secure again.
He shook me gently, trying to wake me up. I opened my eyes and straightened myself, pretending that I just woke up.
"Sorry." He chuckled and then stopped, he wiped something from my cheeks.
"Are you crying?"
"N-no." I look away.
"I think you should go home and rest." He stood up.
I was about to follow him walk towards the stairs when I staggered and fell.
"What happened?" He rushed back towards me and checked my head. I continued to look at his face. I feel so weak.
"Ten.."
And everything went black.
