Chapter 23: What happened?

I'm back with a new chapter, so without much being said: let's go.

Levy's POV:

I couldn't believe it. Kagura, one of the strongest women just died in front of me. Why? Why did she have to die? Is it because Lucy was strong? Is it because kagura was weak? Or is it because I was useless...?

I sat on the ship, drowning in sorrow and self pity. After all, I was death never this close before. My best friend turned into a murderer. Even if Lucy was controlled or something, as soon as she finds out she killed a person... what then? And what about Cana, Juvia and Lisanna? Will they actually care? 

My mind was a mess. So messy, in fact, that I didn't notice Natsu woke up. A few minutes after Kagura passed away, I departed the two dragon slayers at the bottom of the ship and treated their wounds. It took longer than usually when I treated somebody because I was still in shock. 

"I'M SO PISSED OFF" I heard Natsu's voice boom. I'd be pissed off too.

"Natsu-san;" i heard rogue's voice. I felt a wave of relief rush through me because I knew that rogue could easily calm Natsu down. "SHUT THE FUCK UP, I'M TRYING TO REST HERE" 

Well, I didn't expect that. I heard the two fight and decided to make them stop, so I rushed to the bottom of the ship. 

"Guys, I have some news..." I started, but they didn't listen. 

"Guys.. please... Kagura..." I started, but a huge lump formed in my throat and the tears were threatening to fall again. 

"Levy..." Natsu said. "What happened?" 

"It's about Kagura. Lucy.. She.. Kagura.. ugh." I sobbed, falling to the floor. 

Rogue rushed to my side, and before I knew what happened, he picked me up. "Wha-?" I started, but Rogue interrupted me. 

"Natsu-san, let's go upstairs. I have a bad feeling about this." 

Natsu's POV:

I had a bad feeling as well. Only now I noticed the iron-like stench. It surrounded the whole ship and got worse each step we took up the stairs. 

"Blood." I said to nobody in particular. 

We rushed upstairs. Apart from the smell we didn't notice anything special. Kagura was there, on the ground. She faced the other direction, so we couldn't see what exactly has happened. As soon as we walked around Kagura, we noticed the huge slash across her throat. 

My senses blacked out. My mind went blank. My body filled with rage. I couldn't process the scene in front of me. I saw nothing except Kagura's lifeless body. I knew I couldn't go back to Zeref's island, but at that time I didn't care at all anymore. All I wanted was an explanaition. 

I was about to jump off the ship, as a hand yanked me back on board. 

"Cut it out, Natsu. We both know what's more important right now." Rogue said, his voice stern and his face emotionless. 

I wanted to protest, but I couldn't bring a word out. I was too shocked. Too angry. I only watched the scene in front of me: Kagura in a puddle of blood, Levy kneeling next to Kagura sobbing into Rogue's arms. It was a disaster and I couldn't realize it. 

"Natsu-san" Rogue said, getting my attention "Let's have Levy explain what happened back at the camp." 

I nodded and we sailed back as fast as possible. 

Lucy's POV:

I had to do it. I had to do it. I had to do it. For him. For him. For him.
