Chapter 16: Save me, don't save me

A/N: I'M BAAACK! Did you guys miss me? Aw... I'll take your no as a yes ^^ I got my inspiration from the song "Shattered" by Trading Yesterday, as you know, so the song will probably occur a few times in this fanfic.. Who knows, this chapter might be already half of the whole fanfiction, maybe not. Anyway, prepare to see song references throughout the fanfiction :3

"Maybe I'll take the offer"

Juvia thought, while walking towards Meredy, who was munching on something. Juvia was lost in her own thoughts, not even noticing Meredy had asked her a question, until she threw something at her.

"Meredy, what the hell?!" Juvia blurted out, startling the pink haired girl a second. 

"I... I just asked you what was wrong..." Meredy said, frowning at Juvia for her sudden outburst.

Juvia apologised for her behaviour and excused herself from the small group that has formed while she conversed with Meredy. 

Juvia sat on a rock, far away from the camp. She thought about her "beloved" Grey-sama, and about the offer of the dark mage named Zeref. She already realised that she had been rather agressive during the past few days. Her emotions were a total and utter chaos and she couldn't deal with the loss of her family. Phantom Lord gave her safety, even though only the element four and Gajeel (who would never admit it) cared enough for her to call them a family. 

"It's bugging you too, right?" a hoarse voice managed to breathe out, right next to Juvias ear. 

Juvia looked at the female next to her. Her white hair was drenched in cold water. Only now, Juvia had noticed it was raining again. The other womans eyes scanned Juvia, and Juvia noticed the other womans eyes' were red and puffy. 

"It is." Juvia finally breathed out, and sighed. "How do you know I'm here?" 

"It's pretty obvious, really. It seems pretty unnatural to rain while it snows." the other woman answered, faking a smile.

"You think?" Juvia asked, the sarcasm evident in her voice. The other woman rolled her eyes and sat down next to Juvia.

The two women sat in silence, staring at the ground each one lost in their mind. While one woman thought of her beloved, who always rejected her, the other one thought of her childhood friend who distanced himself from her and found a new "best friend".

They were lost in their thought, as Juvia finally said these words. The words none of the girls dared to say since the offer from Zeref. "Maybe we should take the offer... Lisanna" 

With Lucy & Cana:

The blonde beauty sat between the "great" Sting Eucliffe, and Kagura. They had dinner, together with Hibiki, Erza, Jenny, Jellal, Ultear, Ichiya and Cana. The rest were either eating in a seperate circle or out. 

"We will take our leave tomorrow, together with Blue Pegasus." Kagura finally said, waiting for a response.

"That's fine. We weren't expecting any of you to stay with us that long anyway." Erza answered, totally focused on her dinner in front of her. 

Lucy couldn't care less. She was torn between leaving her friends to live with Zeref, or stay and be weak forever knowing she couldn't come back to Fairy Tail anytime soon. While thinking about her choices, Lucy barely acknowledged the fact that Cana had carried her away from the group (bridal style). 

"C-Cana!" Lucy squeaked. "Where are you dragging me to?" 

"I wanted to talk to you about... your decision." Cana answered, finally coming to a halt.
