Chapter 2: The fight and decisions

A/N: Hi, I'm bac with a new chapter ^^ Hope you'll enjoy it, and yeah... ^^

 Lucy P.O.V:

I was awoken by my alarm clock. I slammed onto it and groaned, rubbing my eyes. I stared on my alarm clock with blurry vision, until I figured out numbers: 9:30. I tried to figure out what they were supposed to mean, or who I even am, but soon everything came back to me. I sat in silence thinking what I should do, and jerked out of my bed, waking happy in the process.

“Shit shit shit! I have to go to the guild in half an hour!” I screamed, running around the room, grabbing random clothes, and running into the bathroom to get ready.

After about twenty minutes, I was fully dressed in a brown, fluffy mini skirt, a white tank top, a brown winter jacket and my new, brown knee high winter boots, with (fake) fur on the inside. I was ready to go, until I saw my face.

Horror was written all over it. Even though I washed and dried my hair, it looked like I went into a washing machine. My hair was sticking out into all directions, so I decided on a messy bun. I grabbed my keys and whip, and went into the kitchen to get a fish for Happy, who was (still) in my bed.

“Happy, let's go!” I shouted to the blue Neko.

“Aye!” I heard an energetic Happy coming from my room. 

I gave him the fish, and we went to the guild. I stopped to admire the whole lots of snow still coming down from the sky.

“Ne, Lucy, do you think Natsu will be his old self again?” Happy asked, and tilted his head like a little child.

I sunk my head, but regained my posture. “I hope so.” I answered ´, and stared off into the distance.

We reached the guild, and slipped inside, greeting our fellow guild mates. Just then, an enraged Natsu came stalking towards us. Oh god, what does he want now?

“Lucy, why did you take Happy with you??!” He practically screamed.

I didn't know how to react at first, but got a hold of myself “Why?! Because you ignored us and the rest of the guild! Heck, Happy asked you a million times for a fish, but you kept on ignoring him! I had to go ask Lisanna to ask you for a fish, you idiot! And FYI, Happy went with me because he wanted to, not because I told him to!”

Natsu looked even more angered by the second. He looked like he was going to explode, which looked somehow amusing, but this wasn't the time to laugh.

“Well, you could have at least told me, Lucy!” He argued.

“Alright, so first of all, how am I supposed to tell you, when you ignore me and Happy? Second of all, if you knew he went with me, you could have just come to my apartment and ask for him! But no, you decided to wait until the next morning just to come and be mad at me!” I argued back.

“Lucy, I can not believe you! Lisanna came back like, a few weeks ago, can I not be happy?” Natsu screamed.

“I never said you can't be happy, I'm very happy for you too, but come on. It doesn't mean you can go ignore you god damn partner when he's simply asking for a fish! I'm happy to have Lisanna back too, but I don't go ignoring my guild mates!” I explained, trying to keep calm.

“Oh, you know what? I have a new partner now: Lisanna! So you can find another partner, or wait, you can go find another god damn team, because I'm officially kicking you out!” Natsu shouted, turned on his heel and attempted to leave.

“Natsu! You are NOT going to kick Lucy out! Natsu, it was partially your fault too, so don't go accusing Lucy!” Lisanna scolded.

Natsu just gave her a goofy grin, and said: “Lisanna, Lucy was only a temporary part of the team. She's too weak for the team. We, Erza, Gray and me, are the strongest team, so we don't need Lucy”

Lisanna and I stood in shock. Lisanna was the first one to react: “Natsu, you're such an asshole! I will not be your partner, and I will not go onto your team, baka!” she said, tears streaming down her cheeks.

I still didn't say anything.

Lisanna P.O.V:

I couldn't believe it. Natsu, my childhood friend, my big and true love, just turned his back onto Lucy, his current partner. This isn't Natsu. This isn't him, it can't be him! I hate to say this, but I will have to stand up, against him, to protect Lucy. Natsu is wrong, but why is he doing this to poor Lucy? Why Natsu, why?

“Lisanna...-” Natsu started, but I cut him off.

“Natsu, why are you so angry about this? You know exactly what you did, and that it wasn't a very clever thing to do, because you hurt your comrades! Natsu, that wasn't the best thing to do, and you know it! Why Natsu, why are you such... such an asshole towards Lucy? Towards Happy?” I cried, not giving him a chance to talk.

After a while, Natsu spoke up: “The thing with Happy isn't the reason, it's the trigger. Lucy pulled a trigger, and now she has to deal with the consequences. I am tired of her. I am tired of her weakness, I am tired of her annoying self, I'm tired of her. But you” Natsu went to me, stroking my hair “I will never get tired of you, Lisanna.” he licked his lips.

That's when Mirajane stepped in “Natsu. That's enough. Get away from Lisanna and Lucy.” her voice boomed throughout the guild.

“Tch, not until the weakling left.” Natsu said, slightly bored, though annoyance was written all over his face. 

Mirajane was furious, and was about to turn into Satan Soul, as Lucy’s tiny voice chimed in “Mirajane, it's fine. I'll leave. I was planning on doing so anyway, to train. I don't want to become stronger for him” she gestured at Natsu “but for myself. Don't get me wrong, I love this guild, and I will return, but I am not satisfied with my magical level or whatsoever. I will become stronger, to be a Fairy Tail mage, that is worthy of this guild. I will not shame this guild any longer, but embrace the opportunity given to me by Natsu to leave this guild.” she said while fist pumping the air.

I was in tears. She couldn't leave, I just met her “Lucy, that's bull-”

“We respect your choice, my dear child.” Master cut me off.

Lucy smiled at me and Mirajane, then went to the Master to get the guild insignia off her hand. Master said something to her, and Lucy went around the guild to bid her goodbye. She came to me, hugging me, whispering her goodbye into my ear. I didn't want to let her go, but I had to, it was no use. She went past Natsu, glaring daggers into his eyes. He just smirked. Something was off, and I mean, completely off.

“Master,... if Lucy is leaving, then I shall leave too, to train.” a tiny voice chimed behind me.

I turned around, and saw...
