Chapter 15: The offer

I was frozen in fear but I had to know who was behind me, so I turned around me, and I was literally shocked. My eyes widened and I couldn't move. The person I saw was none other than...

Levy POV

I cried in Yukinos arms, who tried her best to comfort me. Rogue joined in, soothing me with his words but I couldn't listen anymore. He said things about being strong but how can he expect me to be strong when he didn't experience the things I went through? 

"Rogue, where is Lucy-san?" I heard Yukino whisper, and I looked around. I couldn't find Lucy, so I decided to continue to listen to their conversation. 

"She... She was over there a minute ago" Rogue whispered concerned "What's going on here? I just saw her standing over there!" Rogue whisper-shouted and sounded very concerned now. 

"Lu-chan?" I whispered.

I stood up, wiped my tears away and stood in front of everyone.

"What the hell are we even doing here?! We know exactly the guild was under a spell, but instead of trying to find a cure of even help them we are crying in the arms of other guilds? We really are pathetic! Did anyone of us even notice Lu-chan is missing?! Seriously, stop whining! Let's go find Lu-chan and then research about the behaviour of the boys so we can find a damn cure! Damn it, guys!" I screamed at them, trying to cheer them up. 

"You were crying too!" Lisanna accused.

"Leave us alone, Levy!" Juvia joined in.

"Levy, we can see the tears in your puffy eyes, so you have no right to scream at us like that!" Cana shouted right back at me. 

I was taken aback of their accusations, but they were right. 

"Ladies, calm down. Even though Levy cried too, she still had the courage to try to lift our spirit back up again!" Erza shot right back, Mirajane nodding right behind her. 

Soon, a fight erupted between the two fronts, but Lucy was still nowhere to be seen. What could have happened to her?

Lucy POV:

"Zeref?!" I was beyond scared, staring right into his red eyes.

"Why, yes my dear." Zeref cooed, stepping even closer towards me than he already is. "Now, stay here while I get the rest."

With that he sealed me to the ground and I couldn't move. The rest?! I asked myself, panicking. Maybe he is getting his minions. Maybe it's a dark guild he has contact with? My mind raced to so many possibilities, while Zeref left the bubble. 

After minutes of nervously waiting, I noticed how someone entered the bubble. 

"Could you please let us go?" A female voice asked, fear evident. 

"Sit down." Zeref ordered, his voice soft as ever. "There is space next to Lucy" He added, and three girls sat down next to me. 

"Lucy!" One of the girls said, and a wave of relief washed over me. Finally I got to see a familiar face.

"Lisanna! Juvia! Cana!" I whisper shouted and hugged the three of them. 

In front of us, Zeref sat down observing us. Once we broke our hug we sat in a line in front of the dark mage, asking ourselves as to why he would bring us here.

"I saw everything that as happened over the past few days. Now, before I get accused of anything, I have nothing to do with this mess. But I can offer you some help." Zeref said, his eyes glued to us.

"Why would you even care to help us? Don't you have better things to do?" Cana asked, which was pretty brave of her, considering that she is talking to the most evil mage in the history of Fiore. 

"Oh, you're a smart one. I would indeed never help a guild, no matter what. Let's say I have my reasons. And I would like to have something in return." he smirked, and we listened carefully "In return for helping your guild, I want the four of you to come with me." 

Juvia POV:

"In return for helping your guild, I want the four of you to come with me." 

I blinked a couple of times, trying to process this. What is going on here? Why would he like us to come with him? There has to be more to the story than that. 

"Juvia wants to know why you want us to come with you?" I asked, trying to find a reason. 

Zeref eyed me, but smirked at the question. "Two simple reasons. One, I'm so lonely in my big, dark castle. Maybe you Fairies will light up my day?" he said, faking to be sad. Who would guess he is so sarcastic? "Two, you four have a big amount of darkness in your hearts. I want to set this darkness free to fulfill my goal." 

I thought about what he just said, but of course I would never join Zeref, no matter how badly Fairy Tail has hurt me. 

"I want to be fair. Three days. In three days I'll come back, awaiting your answer. Think about the offer. I can grant you great power, what is holding you back? Love? As far as I know, your guys abandoned you, didn't they?" Zeref asked, eyeing us. He smirked at us and disappeared, together with the bubble. 

We stayed quiet, and I thought of the offer Zeref has made us. He was right, the person I loved abandoned me. I hate him so much. Gray Fullbuster can never grent me as much power as Zeref. I could rule over Fiore with three close friends, and I could gain so much power.

"Let's think about him later. We should head back towards our friends." Lucy said, and we nodded. 

3rd person POV: 

While the girls that were confronted by Zeref went to the camp, the people there were engulfed in a huge fight about strength. The fight escelated and soon they fought with magic. They didn't have the slightest clue of what just happened with Lucy, Juvia, Cana, Lisanna and Zeref. And while they were fighting, the four girls went to the camp, their thoughts united into one sentence.

"Maybe I'll take the offer"
