Hawks pov

Dabi and I talked for almost an hour about the most random things, before we knew it, a couple of people started to leave since it was getting late. I asked the burnt bacon if he wanted to stay over but he declined, not that I'm bummed out about it or anything but I thought it would be nice to spend more time with him, he's a really good friend.

Time passed again and it is now midnight, Dabi left a while ago and now, I am holding back Rumi's hair as she empties her stomach into the toilet. After rubbing her back for five minutes, I help her into bed, making her promise to take a bath and brush her teeth first thing when she wakes up, meanwhile, I get into bed and stare at the ceiling. This goes on for hours on end and before I knew it, it was freaking four in the morning. Like what the hell, why can't I sleep, is it because of the conversations I had with Dabi, sure he was good company but what does that have to do with my sleep schedule.

After arguing with myself mentally, I was finally embraced in the loving arms of darkness.

Rumi's pov

Man my head hurts, I feel really sick too but in a way, I kinda earned it, all that alcohol messed me up real good. I get out bed slowly and make my way to the kitchen for a bottle of water, I hear the song Love Parade playing ( really good song FYI, check it out) and I immediately recognise that as my ring tone. I unlock my phone to see five text messages and a missed call, I check out the message first and what I see brings a smile to my face.

Jin: Had fun last night, that party was lit.

Jin: I especially enjoyed yeeting stuff around, see you later dude.

Toga: Hey, sick party, so many cuties around, Hope we could all hang out again soon uwu.

Shiggy: You owe me a drink after loosing in our little game, but I had fun though so whatever.

Shiggy: Plus I hear Dabi lives next to you now, tell him I said hi.

I laugh at the last two texts before checking to see who called me, I click on the number and instantly, my eyes grew wide like saucers. It was Fuyumi, I hadn't heard from her since we graduated high school and we are in our second year in college. I wonder how she's holding up, she was our best friend in the whole world, always looking for us.

I contemplate on whether to call her or not, eventually I decide to put the phone down. It's been a while sure, but I'm not just going to call her if I don't even have the proper words to say yet. I get up and lay down in the living room taking the biggest red sofa there, after ten minutes of flipping through channels, I decide to just step outside in my pyjamas, the cool morning air feels refreshing and the birds are singing in the trees. I turn to find none other than Dabi standing in the drive way, he must be here for the morning air too.

He turns to meet my gaze and simply waves at me, I grin widely and head over to him. As soon as I get there, I bear hug the crap out of him, he seemed shock at first but eventually gives in, nobody can resist my hugs. He lets go and raises an eyebrow at me, then proceeds to sniff the air.

"You need a shower, you smell like sweat and booze".

I playfully punch his shoulder and chuckle at his remark, straight forward I like it, also he was right, I need a bath.

"You know it's rude to tell a lady she smells right, have some manners dude"

I see his lips pull back in a smile before taking my hand, before I knew it, he drags me back into my house and stops in the living room.

"What was that for?"

He looks me for a second before responding.

"I needed to get you inside quickly, your friend looks like someone who would murder you for not taking a shower after partying so hard. Also, I saw Shigaraki in the distance so I kinda need an excuse to avoid the bastard"

I burst out laughing at his comment, this guy really has a way with words, I like him.

"Why are you trying to avoid the guy anyway?", I say while trying to calm down from my high.

"That guy has been on my case for a long time, I'm not gonna say about what and why but for now I just need some space from him, he's sort of what you'll call the nosy type".

I nod my head in understanding, I know some people like that too, I head up to my room to take a shower like Dabi requested, now that I think about it, his attitude reminds me of someone back in the middle school days, I wonder how they are now.

Hawks pov

I wake up to see that it's 9:30am, so much for sleeping till noon. I get out of bed and head over downstairs, on my way I stop by Rumi's room and hear the water running, she's taking a shower like I told her too, good. Sometimes that woman can be really forgetful.

I get down to the kitchen to get a bottle of water when I see Dabi sitting at the counter drinking from one of my spare mugs.

"Umm, hey, what are you doing here?"

"I brought your friend inside to take a shower, she smelled like booze, also, I needed a place to hide from crusty lips and made myself some tea".

I had no idea who he meant by crusty lips but I just shrug it off and allow the guy to make himself at home. I get my water and gulp it down in no time, I am thirsty as hell.

I turn to see Dabi looking at me like I have grown five heads.

"Damn dude, the water is not going anywhere"

The two us laugh for a bit before Mirko made her way downstairs, she is wearing light pink shorts and a white T shirt with the words Bad ass chicklette on it. She sees me with Dabi and wiggles her eyebrows at me, I flip her the bird as she makes her way to the fridge laughing.

"Alright boys, since we are all here, what should we have for breakfast"

"I'll go, I don't want to intrude on anything"

"Come one dude stay I insist, plus you need to be away from Shiggy right"

I have no clue she what she was talking about, but that seemed to get him to sit down, we all wanted some Daifuku for breakfast so Mirko took some out of the fridge to heat up while I went upstairs to take a shower. After I came out of the bathroom, I heard my phone ringing, I check the ID to see who the caller was.
