Sia glanced at the quiet guy disinterestedly walking beside her and let out a sigh. All her efforts to strike a conversation had gone in vain. He was in no mood to talk...They were now walking slowly on the road to the auditorium. Why? She had no clue. She could ask him, but she had stubbornly decided to preserve some dignity. After all, all her cheerful attempts had met the same depressing silence in return, hadn't they?Sia pouted as she wondered how little importance he was paying to their precious time together.
Since morning she had wandered restlessly in Electronics corridors. She even ventured into the faculty hall and dared a peek inside the HOD's office.
Defeated in her search at the main building, she had climbed four floors of R&D building. All the while embarrassing herself at around 20 labs at every floor.
Then she finally found him. Talking to a professor, he had spotted her suddenly too. For a moment, in her puffed stated, she believed she had seen an unexpected intensity in his eyes. But that turned out to be a mere creation of her delusional mind. Because the ungrateful guy did not even bother to smile at her. He just bid farewell to the professor and expected her to fall in step with him. Like they had a previous arrangement to meet at that exact spot at that exact hour!
Swallowing her pride, she still followed him around like a dog as he got papers signed from different departmental heads. She had every reason to be upset, she justified her foul mood. For, other than using her as a spare table to hold his stupid files intermittently; he had done nothing to acknowledge her presence.
But today was not the day to waste in shallow fights... This was the day to cherish every single moment of togetherness. The gloomy thought melted away her anger. Only if she could seep some sense into him...
It was a spring afternoon and the dense green cover around supplied a pleasing fragrance in the wind.
In the past year, they had kissed quite a few times on these roads. But other than that one senseless hug in front of the whole world, she had refrained from any public display of affection. Her kind friends still railed her endlessly to this day, she thought in dismay.
But today, it seemed like kissing was the last thing on his mind. And she was too shy to make the first move. Not to mention utterly irritated. But the engrossed boy was taking forever to make any advances towards her whatsoever!
Maybe she could have let him kiss her neck a little longer the other evening. It sure did feel exhilarating. Her chain of thoughts began to wander off...
If he kissed her like that today, she probably wouldn't stop him... Sia bit her lip and mentally slapped herself at thought as blood rushed to her cheeks.
After stabilizing her impish mind, she stole a peek at him. He wasn't looking in her direction.
Did he even know she exists?

Raghav glanced away from the smiling girl. What was so funny about the agonising day? Or maybe the day wasn't agonizing at all for the ice princess, he thought bitterly. Only if he could imbibe some of her coldness.
As soon as he had opened his eyes today, he knew it was going to be a strenuous day to get through.
No, he didn't want to spend their last day together "happily" like she had generously suggested.
He had not left college yet, the feeling of loneliness had overpowered him already. His batchmates had started long sentimental Facebook posts bidding farewell. But how could he bring himself to say goodbye to the sweetest face on this earth? How could he force himself apart when she had become such inseparable part of him?
