when you and walter went to the seashore and gazed at the horizon. because of the mountains of schoolwork that had to get done, you had started dozing off in your lessons. walter, your tutor and your best friend decided to take you out for a break. he loved the sea breeze as much as you did. but he loved you more. as he looked out into the horizon, walter sighed and had a look of contentment in his face. what he didn't realize was that you were talking, so he just hummed.
"walter, are you listening to me?"
"what was that, y/n?"
"should we get back to the house before my mother throws a fit?"
"ah, yes we should."
as you led the way back to the house, walter looked at you and promised himself that he would confess to you one day. til then, he would love you from afar and protect you with every fiber of his being.
