Both Joon and HoSeok sat down in the living room quietly while Joon prepares the ointment for HoSeok's bruises.
HoSeok carefully removes his clothes and Joon sees a few swollen bruises while he tells HoSeok to hold the pain.
HoSeok takes a deep breath as Joon began to spread the ointment on the bruises that were swollen while he clenched his fists tightly to hold the pain.
Finally, Joon was done and HoSeok was relieved while Joon made drinks for him. "Drink up and rest for tonight.", Joon said and HoSeok got worried about his father might be home.
"Joon, can I go back home? I'm.. just scared. My father could show up at home anytime.", HoSeok asked and Joon sighed while he slammed his glass cup in the sink.
"All I want is for you to rest here because you had a long fucking day! Fine.. Let's go then.", Joon said angrily while he grabbed the car keys.
HoSeok sighed as he noticed how angry Joon was while he followed Joon from behind.
They got back in the car and Joon was quiet throughout the ride which made HoSeok even more worried.
"Joon.. I'm sorry. I'm just afraid if my father finds out that I was sneaking around without him knowing. Please understand. It's not easy to live with a strict parent.", HoSeok explains to Joon while Joon remained quiet without sayint anything else.
When they arrived, Joon unlocks the door and HoSeok sighed while he placed his hand on Joon's arm.
"I promised I won't tell anyone who you are. Your secret is safe with me.", HoSeok assured him and Joon didn't reply to him.
"Just get out of my car..", Joon said with a firm tone and HoSeok got out of the car as he was sad to see Joon being angry with him.
Joon drives away and HoSeok heads up his apartment while he hoped that his father wasn't home until he opened the door carefully.
"Lucky me!", HoSeok said as he realized that his father wasn't home while he grabbed his bottle of Sprite in the fridge and heads inside his room.
He sat down on his bed and tries to send Joon a message to check on him.
HoSeok: Joon.. Are you okay? Please tell me something.
HoSeok: I'll see you tomorrow and we'll spend more time together finding a victim to kill. I promise.
HoSeok sighed as Joon wasn't replying to his message and he had no choice but to wait for Joon to reply.
He changed to his sleeping clothes and gets ready for bed while he checks his phone one last time.
"Please reply me, Joon..", HoSeok said to himself and soon, he fell asleep quietly.
- The Next Day -
HoSeok woke up after a good long sleep and he sat up straight while he checks his phone to see if Joon replied him.

"Where is he?", HoSeok asked himself as he realized that there was no single message from Joon while he hears his father coming home.
Then, his door opened and Mr Jung nods at HoSeok who was looking at him. "I expected you to not be home but this is good.", Mr Jung said and walks to his room while HoSeok sighed as he gets ready for work.
Before he left the apartment, Mr Jung came out to talk to him.
"I won't be home as often anymore so.. I'll give you the chance to spend time with your friends. As long as you don't get in trouble. Understand?", Mr Jung said and HoSeok tries to hide his excitement as much as he can.
"So.. Am I allowed to sleepover at YoonGi's house if he invites me to?", HoSeok asked and Mr Jung nods while he heads back to his room.
HoSeok leaves the house right away while he felt happy that he finally has a chance to be with Joon as much as he wants but Joon was still not replying him.
As HoSeok was still on his way to work, he tries to call Joon but there was no answer. He sighed and decided to let Joon to be alone for awhile.
When he arrived at work, HoSeok sees Eunwoo who was mopping the floor which he never does.
"Why are you mopping?", HoSeok asked and Eunwoo tsk'd at him while looking at him.
"Your buddy came. The one who bought bread. He came and I had to do something in case he tries to fuck me up.", Eunwoo said and he threw the mop towards HoSeok for him to do while he heads back to the storeroom.
HoSeok was stunned as Joon came in earlier to get bread but without looking for him. At this point, HoSeok knew that Joon was really angry about last night.
He picks up the mop and finished the other half of the store until he sees the news on the TV.
"Breaking news! Police have found a body of a man in his 30s with a severe cut on his neck. Police says that it could be a suicide or the works of the serial killer.
Which is the real case? This time, no evidence of the serial killer was found..".
HoSeok smirked to himself as he remembered how it all happened last night and he went to the cash register to count the money.
He hears the bell ring and he looks up right away as he thinks that it would be Joon but he sees YoonGi coming in which made his smile disappear.
"Hey! You okay? You look unhappy to see me today?", YoonGi asked and HoSeok laughs before getting a bottle of coke for him.

YoonGi sees Eunwoo and rolled his eyes at him while he pays HoSeok for the bottle of coke. "By the way, Jimin and I are doing some karaoke session tonight. You should come. Atleast get your mind away from shitty people.".
HoSeok thought about it and agrees to it while YoonGi was excited that he tells HoSeok to wait outside as he would be coming to pick HoSeok up.
After YoonGi left, HoSeok sighed as he wished that he could meet Joon after work but Joon was too angry to see him.
Eunwoo left the store to get lunch while HoSeok checks his phone to see if there was anything from Joon but there was nothing. Zero.
HoSeok stood up and walks to the storeroom to get all of the new stocks out to arrange them on the shelves as usual.
He hears Eunwoo coming back with food until Eunwoo gave something to him. "What is this?", HoSeok asked and Eunwoo forced him to take while HoSeok was hesitating.
"Just eat it please. I didn't put any poison in for fuck sake.".
