Mr Jung pulled the trigger and NamJoon dashed towards HoSeok while YoonGi threw the brick right away.
NamJoon covers HoSeok as he got hit with the bullet on his back while the brick that YoonGi threw, knocked the gun off Mr Jung's arm.
"N-NamJoon.. No!", HoSeok said as he felt NamJoon's back that was wet. NamJoon smirked as he took a knife out before he turned around to look at Mr Jung.
"For JungKook...", NamJoon said and he threw the knife as it landed directly on Mr Jung's chest. NamJoon falls to his knees and HoSeok ran to his side before he sees his father taking the knife out of his chest.
Soon, they heard police's siren outside and they heard Jimin's voice while HoSeok looks at his father. "I hope you rot in hell.", HoSeok said and Mr Jung drops to the ground while his face was turning pale.
Jimin arrives with the polices and he ran to YoonGi while HoSeok was holding a weak NamJoon. The police gets Mr Jung away while the paramedics attend to the rest of them.
HoSeok and NamJoon were in the ambulance as NamJoon's back was still hurting. "Doesn't it hurt, babe?", HoSeok asked with a worried look.
NamJoon smiles weakly and said, "Nope. For you, nothing hurts.". HoSeok leans down and kissed NamJoon on the lips before they were on their way to the hospital.
- The Next Day -
HoSeok was getting a drink by the vending machine before he went to see NamJoon.
He came into the room and sees NamJoon lying down on the bed while they smiled at each other. HoSeok adjusted his cast to move closer to NamJoon while NamJoon placed his hand on HoSeok's cheeks.
"Thank you for saving me, NamJoon.", HoSeok said and NamJoon shook his head with a smile.
"You saved me. So we're even.", NamJoon said and HoSeok laughs a little before he leaned down as they kissed until the nurse came in.
"Sorry to disturb the sweet moment.", the nurse said and HoSeok got shy while NamJoon was laughing to himself.
The doctor came in and spoke to HoSeok about NamJoon's condition. "So far, NamJoon's been doing well. If there's no more complications, he might be able to go home tomorrow.", the doctor said and HoSeok was glad to hear that as he thanked the doctor right away.
After the nurse and doctor leaves, HoSeok helps NamJoon to sit up as it was about time to have his lunch and NamJoon had something to talk to HoSeok.
"I don't think there will be a home after this, babe.", HoSeok looks at him right away while he wondered what does NamJoon meant.

"I'm planning to leave the city. Taking a break from all of this mess. After what happened, I finally found who killed JungKook. It's time for a break.", NamJoon explained and he held HoSeok's hand right away.
"Then let's do it. I could use a break too.".
"But what about your friends, YoonGi and Jimin?".
HoSeok thought about it for awhile and said, "I've been through shit all of my life too. Even if I stayed behind, the pain and all of those memories will still be with me.".
HoSeok moves closer to NamJoon before kissing his cheeks as they smiled at each other. "So let's do it together. Just you and me.", HoSeok said and NamJoon nods with a smile as they leaned in to kiss again.
"Aren't you going to miss killing? I mean you are a serial killer.", HoSeok whispered and NamJoon laughs about it.
"Who said that I was going to stop? I'm just going on a break. Once that break is done, you and I... will move things forward alright?", NamJoon said and HoSeok agrees with it while he helps to feed NamJoon his lunch.
- Later -
HoSeok was heading to the cafeteria to get cofde for NamJoon when he sees Jimin walking towards him.
"Hey. Mind if we could talk for awhile?", Jimin asked and HoSeok nods while they find a table to sit and talk.
"How's YoonGi?", HoSeok asked and Jimin smiled while nodding to the question.
"He's doing good. I came because you haven't talk to him eversince what happened. If it's about NamJoon's secret, then trust me.. he's not angry about it.", Jimin said and HoSeok sighed while he takes a sip of his coffee.
"He's your bestfriend, HoSeok. Atleast talk to him. He missed his bestfriend too.".
"I thought you guys would report NamJoon to the police. I mean, that's what people would do right.", HoSeok said and Jimin shook his head.

Jimin sighed and said, "We saw how happy both of you were. Of course we can't let anything get in the way. I can tell how much you love NamJoon.".
"Well, you and YoonGi are good together too. I'm glad he has you, Jimin.", HoSeok said sincerely.
"Thanks, HoSeok. I appreciate it.", Jimin replied.
HoSeok smiled about it and thanked Jimin for doing what he did. "Once I'm ready, I'll meet YoonGi. I'll make sure of it.", HoSeok said and Jimin nods happily as they continued to drink their coffee before they parted ways.
As HoSeok was walking back to NamJoon's room, he sees NamJoon all asleep while he smiled to himself.
HoSeok sat on the couch and looks through his phone to see if there was updates on his father until he sees the report of it.
Mr Jung has been found dead in jail earlier today after a fight broke out in the canteen. It has been said that Mr Jung was picking a fighting with one of the inmates which resulted in a fight and it led to Mr Jung's death.
HoSeok sighed as he puts his phone away and his father was now dead while HoSeok could only think of the pain he had to go through all these times with his father in his life.
"I have NamJoon now. And that will remain forever.", HoSeok said to himself and he smiled as he continues to watch NamJoon sleeping.
