Falling. Continuously falling.
The boy felt the weightlessness of his body as he plunged into the abyss beneath him.
Eyes lined the walls around him. Staring. Staring.
The boy finally landed on a soft mattress surrounded by onlookers.
"Aight, we bouncin' " they announced as they backflipped away into the darkness.
A long figure stayed behind however.
A man of about four feet in height, he wore a cowboy hat and a leather jacket. He pulled out an axe from behind him and threw it to the boy.
"Lemme axe you a question," he said as he picked up a stick and handed it over as well. "Wanna stick together?"
The man chuckled as he lifted his hat, revealing a large stone adorning his forehead.
"You rock dude!" he exclaimed before putting his hat back on and cartwheeling away.
The boy just sat there in awe before he heard a piano playing from behind him.
"just a small town girlllllll" a voice whispered out to him.
