Buck is currently hanging out with Maddie and Chimney at Maddie's house. They are just trying to figure out a name for Maddie's baby when Chimney suddenly asks Buck "Are you dating Eddie?" and Maddie just started laughing.  "No. I'm not. We're just best friends who hang out a lot and care for each other and sometimes get mistaken for being married, but we aren't dating." Maddie stopped laughing eventually and said, "It seems like you are dating based on what you just said." Buck quickly replies saying, "Well, we aren't dating. I kinda love him though. Like a lot. I love him a lot. But he could never love me. We are only best friends." Chimney just sighs and says "Just see what happens tomorrow."

*Time Skip*

Chimney, Hen, Maddie, Josh, Athena, and (surprisingly) Bobby ended up making a plan to get Buck and Eddie together. It all starts at the beginning of Buck's shift. Hen and Chimney walk up to Buck and Hen asks him "Do you have any plans for today" and Buck replies with "No. Why are you asking?" and the reason why Hen asked Buck that is because she's distracting him so Chimney can quickly get his phone but she also asked him that to see if he was busy and she's obviously not going to tell him that. "I was just asking because I wanted to hang out with you but then I forgot that I already have plans with Karen" Hen said because that was the only excuse she could come up with.

After Chimney got Buck's phone he went to Bobby to give Buck's phone to Bobby. "I can't believe I'm doing this. Now I have to call Athena to come over here and give her Buck's phone right?" Bobby asks Chimney and Bobby was clearly regretting his decision to help them. "Yeah. That's all." Chimney replies to Bobby. After Bobby calls Athena she shows up and takes the phone and drives to the Call Center and gives the phone to Maddie and Josh. "I can't believe we're doing this. Stealing Buck's phone to set him up on a date with Eddie." Josh said. He's surprised because he never thought that Maddie would do something like that. "We just have to text Eddie after Buck's shift is over." and they did wait.

After half an hour, Eddie texted Buck Do you want to hang out after my shift is over? and Maddie and Josh decided to text Eddie What if we went on a date instead? Eddie didn't respond but he read it. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Josh asks Maddie. "Of course it is." Maddie responded. Once Buck went to his house, he noticed that his phone was missing so he started driving back to the fire department. Before he got there, Maddie saw him because she was trying to go there before Buck and she ended up giving him his phone. Buck started driving back to his house and then Eddie finally replied with Sure. We can go on a date. I never knew you liked me like that but if I knew that, I would've asked you out first. He didn't know what Eddie was talking about until he went to his messages and saw why Eddie said that. Buck replied with Nah. I'm pretty sure I still would've asked you out first. When Buck got to his house, he waited until Eddie's shift was over and they decided where to go on a date and Maddie texted Buck if he had any plans and he texted Maddie that he was going to a restaurant with Eddie so they could get to know each other more. Maddie texted him that so she and Josh can spy on them. After Buck and Eddie's date, they kissed and Josh, Maddie, Chimney, and Bobby lost a bet so they had to give Athena and Hen 50 dollars.
