"I'm going to the cafeteria." I told Bethany and Marzia.

"Do you want us to come with you?" Bethany asked.

"No." I simply said.

"Won't you be lonely?" Marzia asked.

"I'm meeting someone there." I told her. I grabbed my purse, which contained my dorm room keys and wallet. I then put my phone in my back pocket, and headed out the door.

I spotted Troye making his way over to the building and I shouted his name and held my hand in the air. He noticed me and waited for me to catch up with him.

"Thanks for waiting." I told him.

"No problem."

"And thanks for agreeing to come." I added.

"Oh, it's no big deal." He started. "I was getting hungry anyways."

We got to the cafeteria and I asked for a chocolate muffin. Troye got a bagel with cream cheese.

We sat at the table Bethany, Zoella and I had sat at yesterday, and we faced each other and ate in silence for a moment.

I took a bite of my muffin and spit out the words, "Can you keep a secret?"

Troye paused and stared at me for a moment, I assumed he was wondering what sort of secret I would tell him.

"Yeah, what is it?" He finally said.

I froze before saying, "Today, when Felix and I wandered off on our own during class, he got a little too comfortable." I began to tone down my voice as more people entered the building. "He sat extremely close to me and of course I scooted away because he has a girlfriend but it just made me really uncomfortable and I've been carrying guilt with me and I don't know why and I lied to Marzia and-"

"Anna." Troye said, cutting me off. "Slow down."

I stopped talking.

"Tell me everything, but slowly this time."

I nodded and replied with, "Okay."

About an hour later, Troye and I were still sitting at the cafeteria table, talking about random topics, far from the topic of Felix. As we began to settle down in our conversation, I brought up the topic of Felix once more.

"Anna," he told me. "Just remember that you only wanted to be his friend, nothing more and nothing less. It is entirely his fault and you should not feel guilt because you did not do anything."

I nodded as I usually did when talking to Troye. "Thank you," I started. "for coming with me to the cafeteria and talking with me."

"Well, thank you for becoming such an amazing friend." He smiled cheekily.

"Too bad you're gay." I smirked.

"Too bad you're a girl."

"This conversation took an awkward turn." I admitted.

"Well, you started it." Troye giggled and stood up from the table. "I'm going to head back to my dorm, do you want me to walk you to yours?"

"Yes, please." I smiled and grabbed my purse. He waited for me to stand up and we began to walk back to my room.

"So," he started. "What are you doing tomorrow night?"

"I thought you were gay?" I asked. "You can't possibly be asking a girl out on a date." I emphasized the word girl.

"I'm not asking you on a date, I'm asking what you're doing tomorrow night?"

"Well, I had nothing planned. What did you have in mind?"
